turning off aids in turismo mode

ok is it just me or is it impossible to drift in turismo mode...press the ebrake and the car cuts power and has no response...floor it through a corner and just understeer. wtf, am i doing wrong. i have found in arcade mode that u can turn the aids off but i cannot use my cars that ive tuned in arcade mode. how am i missing such an easy step in the game. HOW DO YOU INITIATE A DRIFT IN TURISMO MODE? i know what and how drifting works but i need to know how to drift my freakin 850hp skyline dammit. thank you guys, first post and the forums are great so far. i feel so stupid bc i have been drifting real and videogames for about 4 yrs now

start off with a 300 hp rwd car. like a silvia or something of that sorts.
there is no need to use ebrake for entry. and you flooring it through the corner wont do it either. you need to use some kind of weight transfer technique to initiate the drift, like feint, braking, or lift off.
there are plenty of settings in the settings depot if you need.
use the N series of tires, aka N1,N2,N3. they provide enough grip to grip and they are easy to break loose when you need to.
and last but not least, pratice makes perfect.

Just take the time to play the game. It isn't that hard. If you'd try adjusting the car settings you'd know how to turn off aids. By the way that Skyline is probobly part of your problem too. Try getting a FR with less power, Bro. If you have been Sim Drifting for 4 years you should have any problem with GT4.

yeah i have like 50 cars and they are all incapable of drifting as far as ive noticed. i dk i gotta mess around more i gues but i was just wondering if you can turn off the traction control aids in turismo mode just tell me dont be a smart ass and say i havent tuned enough

Yep, go test out somethings, look in the drift settings depot and the drift reference then come back with you challenges and questions.
