Hey everyone,

The other day I was trying the f1 tt around monaco. First I tried the f2007 and cold only get around a 1:20 lap time. Inthe f2010 i got a 1:17.2. I realized that a large part of this is that I have to turn my dfgt wheel a full rotation to get the car around the hair pin.

Is there any way to change the amount of rotation that gives the car steering lock?

Example; 200deg instead of 900deg

In short, no.. All you can do is increase your steering sensitivity which will help some bit probably not give the the results your looking for. :(

I don't seem to recall having the same problem with the fgt.

I don't understand why PD would make an f1 car need 900degrees of rotation from lock to lock.

Can you not decrease the Toe values on your suspension to negative values? It will make your car turn more.

It also helps to make this turn using only one hand on the wheel as you will not be crossing hand over hand doing this.

I'll give one handing the wheel next time on in gt5. It would be awesome if the next update allowed us to change our wheel's degrees of rotation in the game settings.

if it's technically possible..

anyone know, can you do it in any other game, or PC sims.. (I have g27 btw).

real life cars do have very different steering controls and have differences in degrees of rotation etc.. in GT it seems they are very similar to all cars.. anyways the basic is there..

Steering sensitivity only affects DS3 and nothing else so that won't work.

I also have the DFGT and that hairpin is b:crazy:tch in most cars. One thing that might help is to turn down the decel LSD setting. Cars will turn more freely with lower settings. Negative toe can also help it rotate a bit freer, but both of those changes will affect the car on every other corner as well so there will be a trade off.

It also helps if you enter the turn as wide as possible and hit the apex where all the rubber is.

I don't have the F1 on this account I'm using now but I did use the FGT and got to a 1:14 I think and that hairpin was a struggle in it as well.

It is a feature available on Shift 2..
