Hey Garagefather, it is no problem at all. It looks like your color combination and car number are both available. All you need to do is accept the PSN Turtle FRs we send you. Welcome to the Turtle Racing League! 👍

OK---white car/blue wheels----#17 . Thanks

Hey luvtadrive, thank you for joining the Turtle Racing League - Enduro Racing Series. The color combination and car number you have chosen are both available. Just accept the Turtle FRs we send you and you should be good to go. Welcome to the Turtle Racing League!

I would like to welcome 2 new drivers to the league.
luvtadrive and Garagefather welcome to the Turtle Racing League's Enduro Series.
We look forward to racing with you.👍

Hey I will be sitting a few races out of all of the leagues to just practice on the wheel. Debating if i should switch to the controller for the enduro league or not (tend to be more consistent with the controller then steering wheel)

Stick with the wheel friend! It just takes practice! No need to try and set blistering lap times, just sit back and enjoy the ride! Speed will come!

Exactly what NjLowrider said. You can't put the training wheels back on now. Go for it! 👍

Friend, I know exactly that feeling, but the best way to get used to the wheel is to run more races. Yes the mistakes will happen a bit more at first but as soon as you have what i call the "ah HA" moment it will be great. A controller let's someone get away with more aggressive maneuver's since the moment from lock to lock on a joypad is so quick, while with a wheel it takes more time. But the BIG upside is the resolution increase in your steering inputs will allow you to smoothen out your driving style and become much more consistent. If you set the wheel up right you can feel certain things that you wouldn't get from a joystick. These things are cues to what the car is doing in relation to the track or other cars.

take it from me, I was pretty darn quick with a joypad and the wheel made me just a tick faster but way way more consistent.

Stick with the wheel.

Yeah you pretty much have to learn tracks somewhat over again, but generally what I do for practicing is:

If the race is 30 laps, I run 30 laps either in practice mode or in my lounge solo. Just working on laps in a peaceful quiet environment.

Granted it only helps me for that race coming up, but with the 9month old I have very little time anyway so.

I would add tire wear to the equation as well. Once you smooth out your driving style your tires will last longer and you will have stronger and more consistent finishes.

I agree with everyone else, dont give up on the wheel. I would add try getting a stand or building your own so that you can sit comfortable. A friend of mine built his own, it cost more than aftermarket stands but it is customized to fit and he used a real car seat! It may take awhile but one day you'll wonder how you ever played without one! Good luck!

I was out having a drive last night and made the Tsukuba circuit in an empty snowy parking lot. not to scale but the basic track lay out.

Good Afternoon Turtles,

I will be hosting Practice tonight, in the Turtle_Town Lounge at 8PM EST. To any of our new members, this can be found from your GT Life Home screen, under the Community Tab. The vehicle for tonight is the Suzuki Cappuccino RM, tuning prohibited. Please remember to paint and number your cars accordingly.

See everyone out there tonight! :sly:👍

Turtle Racing League – Nürburgring Racing Series

NEW RACING SERIES - Check it out here!

There needs to be more snowy night races on GT! We do not get much snow in Tn, but when we do its (0lllllll0) donut time! Looks like good times!

Try to make practice, probably be late. Get home about 7:30 eastern, not sure how much snow we have gotten during the day. Have to take care of the snow before I can play - at least according to my wife.
