When you save a replay is there a way to send it to someone?

Yes. But, there are limitations. Replays have files for every lap done and will get bigger the more laps are run. You can transfer the files to a computer and post them up at a file hosting service such as Sugarsync and give permissions to others with accounts at that site. They would then download them and transfer to their PS3 and import to GT5 replays to watch.

A zip file containing 6 approximately 11 minute races with 5 - 8 laps in each race runs around 85MB.

What times were you all getting at Spa. This track seems to like me and I'm seriously considering being there on Saturday night. All depends on if I can wrangle this car around the track.

My fastest lap was a 2:21.xxx. It gets real fun on laps 8, 9 ,10. :D

I don't have the skill or dedication to try that. If the game would give you more feedback and i had a better setup, I might, but i'm only die-hard up to a certain point :crazy:

Maybe i'll be able to catch you now.
 
I'm so bummed I'm going to miss the "bull in a china shop", I mean Aventador race. On the flip side, I am beaming with excitement about Le Mans. Will I get last? Probably. Will I grin from ear to ear for all 30 laps? Absolutely.

Are you using a controller? You get around pretty darn well. I don't know how the "fast guys" do it with a controller. Impressive to say the least.
 
I'm a dfgt guy. Although in certain situations, the controller can be faster (as you have immediate reaction and countersteering that one doesn't have with the wheel). The wheel is much smoother though.

I just have a hard enough time with my late braking, i can't imagine trying to go ABS = 0 :lol:

Practice was crazy. Going through Eau Rouge on laps 8, 9, and 10 was pretty darn exciting!

I can't understand why some of you don't like the Adentador. I think it's a great car. Wait a minute,maybe I'm just not driving it fast enough to think its bad!!

And next week at La Mans. Part of that race is at night. Last time I raced at night was in A-Spec.
Guess I need to pick the one with the best headlights. Do these cars have high beams. Ha ha. Guess I better be to gettin to findin out.

After I had to exit the F1 race last night (technical difficulties) I watched you drive, and yes you are over driving the car. You went around the track fast enough with fresh tires, but you also wore out your tires literally twice as fast as anyone else. For a car that pushes you need to go slow in and fast out. Get your tire wear under control and you will be competitive.
 
Yesterday I jumped into Turtletown and was running some laps with Phish. This car is a pushy b:censored:. You really have to get it settled on entry so you can let it pull hard on exit. The good thing about this car is if, and I mean if, the back end steps out, judicious application of throttle and steering angle, will usually pull the front end right back in line. Lap 11 was practically undrivable for me. I managed into the low 2:23s without draft. I did pull a 2:21 but that was while bouncing in and out of Phish's draft. With a ton more practice to hit that "magic" lap I could probably get down in 2:20s, but I don't have the energy for that.

I can say I concentrate more on getting clean laps and will sacrifice speed to get up Eau Rouge and that fast left heading down towards the last chicane, to avoid the narrow-minded penalty areas at those spots.
 
This car is very fun. I cant remember my lap times though. Someone said slow in and fast out. That is the way to go, as soon as you hit the appex most times you can get right back on the throttle and it pulls itself out pretty well. I love the car and track combo. Great pick, I must say.
 
I will miss few more races. I've been watching NHL and NBA playoffs lately.

I am also back to using DS3 from dfgt.

Question: will there still be a turtle league when the gt6 and/or ps4 comes out? If yes, are we going to migrate to gt6 or keep playing gt5 in ps3?

Well, there certainly won't be a Turtle Racing League if everyone gets too busy watching the NHL and NBA. GT6 will come out for the PS3, so we would certainly start having GT6 races almost immediately after release. Obviously, it will take some time for everyone to acquire a copy of it, so there would still be plenty of GT5 racing going on in the meantime.

👍 I've already put in my birthday request to the wife and kids.If it comes out in nov. like GT5 did ole dad's gettin GT6 for his birthday. And if not in nov. well I'll get 2 bd presents thus year.

I painted my car black, but it won't let me paint the wheels on this car. Can I just install new wheels, or will that screw up the "tuning prohibited" and not allow my car on track? My plan was to just install new wheels that I like, but I don't know if that is considered an upgrade.

Yes change the wheels, then paint it. It won't affect tuning prohibited
