Tonight in FLEX we will be using a rolling start. These cars have allot of power and starting from a standstill on the banking is extremely challenging. In an attempt to make the start as clean as possible we will:

1- Qualify
2- At the start of the race everyone will hold their position. No one moves.
3- I(martin_ky) will drive to the front and then lead the racers for 1 pace lap. There will be NO PASSING or RECKLESS DRIVING DURING THIS LAP.
4- After exiting the bus stop I will accelerate to 100mph in the final corner and hold this until the start/finish line.
5- I will then pull to the far right of the track before passing the starting line. As you pass the starting line you may then accelerate.
6- Usual rules still apply for turn 1, hold your position and no passing attempts until after turn 1.

Race Recap

A couple of very exciting and somewhat slippery races this week in FLEX. Both races had many exciting battles with Psycho-Tuber being the only person to finish in the same position in both races. TX_Executioner's 1st and 3rd place tied him with Psycho-Tuber's double 2nd place finishes for a total of 60 points. TX had the faster lap of the two in both races and locked down another 1st place finish. 👍 Martin got pole and was able to get within a point of the leaders but fell short due to an inconsistent 2nd race. 4th/5th/6th place was a three way tie between Micantony, MBOBB, and NCR. Micantony put in the fastest laps in both races not only of the three, but of the whole field. NCR took 5th place having faster laps then MBOBB in both races. 8th and 9th place was again another tie this time between Team-Kracker and RacingOtaku. Team-Kracker nudging RacingOtaku out of 8th by having the faster laps in both races. Great driving by everyone this week. 👍 Thanks to all who showed up.

That was an exciting competitive race. All those tie scores are amazing and the rolling start worked out great. In Race 1 TX_Executioner was gaining on me and if the race had lasted another lap he may have caught my draft and passed me. Whew!

Wow what a close race for 4th, 5th and 6th spot.
That was alot of fun. The next Nascar race should be at Suzuka. Those cars are always fun at that course.

Consistency killed my races this weekend. Too many mistakes. It was a good field of racers though. Thanks for the good times!

I noticed i was by far the fastest through the Bus Stop, but the first 2 sectors i was much slower. Maybe more practice time would have gotten me closer to the lead pack as i didn't quite have my braking zones down on a couple corners very well.

If you have the F2007, there is a Ferrari seasonal using those. Take the hp down to around 450 and it pays a little over 2 mil. for the Nurb race if you win.
