Hey guys. Just posting an update on my status the past couple of weeks. I've been trying to make time to run both of these series, but just don't think I can. I was hoping to arrange my schedules to run one 1 week, and then the other the next, but doesn't look like that's possible.

I've decided to drop the FLEX league, and just run the ENDURO series. Hopefully this will allow me to actually be there for practices and races. Maybe in the future when my little one gets some more regularity to her schedule then I can find the time to rejoin, but I felt like it was unfair to take a slot in both series if I cant fully commit to it, so this seems like the best decision for me.

I'm in the same boat Casa. I mostly do the Endurance series, but i'll show up for a race in the Flex series when I can (sometimes it's only the second race of the night to make the Moderator work some telling me to move to the back:p)

I kept my spot open for when i find the chance on Friday's. Even without breaking in the car or practicing i can still have fun racing with everyone mid-pack or in the back. It's a good and diverse group of Drivers.

Hope to see you in Practice on Wednesdays! I enjoy those quick races a lot since the room is generally pretty full.

I noticed Psycho and Mbobb were hanging out together in another lounge last night. I wonder what those troublemakers were up to...:odd:
 
Even though I'm not listed as a FLEX driver, do I still win the 3rd place prize from last week's races?

Depending on when I get on, I may not have a broken in car. Carpet installed today, and they did a terrible job, so I can't get back on the PS3 until tomorrow.

Great, we look forward to racing with you. If you don't get a chance to break in your car be sure to change the oil. Also, most of use our B-Spec drivers to break in the cars for us. Sorry about your carpet. :grumpy:

Oh yea, that's true. If you didn't get to practice this week it's ok because none of us were able to practice on the track we are actually go to race on because it's going to be a generated track. Great timing MrXweetok!

I'll definitely use B-Spec Bob to break it in. I'll probably put him in the Laguna Seca race or something of that sort.
 
Sad to say but I will have to pull out of the Flex league mostly because trying to race three leagues and make practice and all that really kills the night life so I am going to be down sizing to two leagues. Hope everyone has a good time and will be seeing you all over at Enduro and F1

We are a victim of our own success! :lol: Mix it up a little and race the races you like. The schedules go out far enough for you to plan which ones you would like to attend.

Turtle Racing League - Simply the Best!​
 
Good racing last night. I had a few problems in the first race but ran an incident free second race. That was a fast track and suited the car great. Thanks for coming out.
 
Those were some crazy races last night. It seems if you could keep your car on the track, you'd have a good night. But that track bit everyone at some point. :dopey:

Race 1, I had a big wreck on lap 5 while leading. Had a great race trying to get by Otaku. Another absolutely massive crash (I think several of us hit that wall that jutted out at the double right hander in the high speed sector) followed with 3 to go when I had a nice lead. That evaporated quickly. Ended up having an adventurous last few turns causing Martin to get on my back bumper. :nervous: My worn tires caused me to slide around the last corner. I looked in my mirror and saw you do the same thing. :lol:

If I hadn't wrecked 3 times in the first 7 laps in race 2, I may have been able to give Martin a good race. But after the pit stop, I got into a zone where everything was going perfectly. Ran 6 straight laps of at least 1:29, my best being a 1:28.9. I think I only ran three laps of 1:29 the whole rest of the race. I had another great battle with Otaku the last 2 laps. 👍 Nice job, Martin, on the win in race 2.

Looking forward to the Spa enduro next week. I don't think I've touched my Zonda R in about a year.
