yeah, cape ring is tough 15 laps is perfect for a one stop race.
 
I agree, Cape Ring is a dangerous track to run fast and it's brutal on the tires.

8 laps got me to about 50% tire on the fronts. Probably go with ABS again and save some front tire, but 15 laps would be interesting. I'll need to test it out both ways.
 
We will have F1 practice tonight from 8-9:30pm Eastern in Turtle Town.

You can use it, I think it is slippery though.

You can use the whole track through the ring. But now I've told you that, now you have to tell joe about the ring.:sly:

what about joe low 1:56s I'm guessing and maybe a high 1:55

I got the ring right once, on a first lap, earlier and did 55.7, but last night did a 56.1 on Lap 2 practice. For whatever reason I can only do 57s in a race. Very strange like the physics change or something. Happened a few weeks ago too for the race at trial mountain where there was a big difference in grip from practice to race. I swear I'm not on drugs

Have to work on the ring, but probably can't make it tomorrow anyway.

Hey Joe, I have noticed the same thing. I just figured it was dirty air though. They are not planted like in practice.
 
Maybe. I was thinking that at first as its always difficult to follow someone, but I was 2.5 seconds behind someone and still running only 57s and 58s.
 
I've never done anything in the F1 cars, how do you break them in since Bob can't do it.
