dont apologise for offering a opinion you are right though the car is insane.

I agree with you, but you could have added a little more then that :p
The title is as long as the thread itself.

Probably not that necessary of a thread

I was searching this car weeks and few days ago i finally founded it. Problem is that i'm very lazy to try it on the track.Soo becauze of this thread i will give it a try ;)

Toyinster
One of the few cars I don't have...does it come up in the UCD? I bought the speed 6 recently.

I don't have it either. :( It was great fun in GT4 so I can't wait until I have a shot of it on GT5.

It can go pretty quick around most tracks, but you absolutely need to keep your right foot/thumbs/index fingers as light as possible :nervous:

The sound is awesome and scary at the same time

I don't think you're a cool car... make some engine noises for me and I might change my opinion.

Speed 12 -

It is true that I have sent six bullets through the head of my best friend, and yet I hope to show by this statement that I am not his murderer. At first I shall be called a madman - madder than the man I shot in his cell at the Arkham Sanitarium. Later some of my readers will weigh each statement, correlate it with the known facts, and ask themselves how I could have believed otherwise than I did after facing the evidence of that horror - that Cerbera Speed 12 on the doorstep.

It is a car that stands alone in GT5 - So much performance, so little headroom.

So then let's make this thread useful then.

The car is indeed "insane." I haven't got the oportunity to drive it in GT5, but I recall that in GT4 it could be a pain to drive. Now, the interesting thing about it is that upgrading that thing with a turbo, which would raise the power to around 1200HP, actually made the car much easier to drive around corners. the lag that you got served as a natural TCS and turned that car from an indomitable beast to a barely erratic but consistent racing machine.

There is a way to get it to hook up and NOT roast the tires through 3rd gear... it involves the rear toe angle and the weight balance. Get this right and it'll hook up at the end of 2nd gear, grab 3rd and it's GONE. I got the supercharger on mine... the turbo does make it a bit easier on the wheel spin, but it doesn't have the same punch that the supercharger gives it. It will eat race cars for lunch if you get the settings right, but it takes some time to get it working. Get it working on the Ring (Nurburgring) and you got a serious monster on your hands.

This was my favorite car growing up, every gran turismo since the 2nd it was my most desired car to obtain. However, in GT5 it just sits in the standard garage.

I think it was the "insane" numbers the thing put out, combined with the ax murderer styling that appealed to me back then.
Especially this version from gt2:

though i would love to see this get premium treatment sometime in the future:

The pictures above... AHHH SWEEEEEEEETTTTTT! I want that orange metallic one on the 2nd pic. Come on PD, give us some more awesome premiums. No more nissans and beetles.

The Speed 12 is a beast hands down! :D

Just knowing you're driving a 800+hp beast of pure chaos, is a true thrill rush. I had the pleasure of driving the car in GT2-GT5, and I was always scared of putting my foot on the pedal, true story.:nervous:

The car smells a straight and its gone. This TVR, espically with a good suspension setup, can rip apart small tight tracks like Monaco or the F1 Nurburgring tracks. Eats other cars for dinner and still want dessert on the side. An amazing car noneoftheless.

With all this in mind guys, anybody have any good tunes?

EDIT: Make sure to include details, don't just give a name!

Sorry, I can't give details (still working the ins and outs of the phone app) but if you go to the tuning forum, Clueless Tunes (link in my signature), shmo tuning garage, and Praiano have tunes for the car. Possible others as well, but this is just off the top of my head :dopey:
