So if you’ve ever played GT6 before, you’ve probably heard of the 15th Anniversary DLC that was available to those who preordered the game. Chances are, you’ve either wanted them since you missed out and haven’t been able to get them, or perhaps you had them once and lost them somehow. Well, acquiring them can now be done just by save editing!
Coming from the same person that figured out how to activate the DLC in GT5 back in 2020, Razerman has done it again for GT6 with a little help from me and now he has a new editor that was recently shared here that is capable of doing this. That said, in this thread, I will show you how you can and like the GT5 thread, it’s very easy to do.
What you’ll need
PS3
GT6 1.03 or higher (Digital or physical)
USB flash drive (one in FAT32 format is preferred since the PS3 supports it, most flash drives are FAT32. As long as the PS3 can read it, you should be fine)
GT6 Save game
GT6AvaloniaSaveEditor - 0.0.5 (GT6AvaloniaSaveEditor-0.0.5-win-x64.zip or GT6AvaloniaSaveEditor-0.0.5-win-x64.zip will do)
Once you have everything you need, let’s get started! 🙂
1. Plug your USB flash drive into your PS3, go to save data, and copy your save game to it. There are two save games, one is the regular save, and the other is the backup. We only need the regular one; you can’t copy the backup anyway.
2. Plug your USB flash drive into your computer.
3. Open the save editor you downloaded earlier. If it's your first time using it, you might get this message if you’re on Windows 10:
Just click “More info” and then “Run Anyway”. Don’t worry, this program is not malicious or dangerous. You shouldn't receive it again afterward unless you decide to download the editor again.
Once you open the editor, it should look like this:
You can either drag your save game into the editor and or you can click “File” and “Open” and then load your save game. Either one works.
4. Once it’s loaded, navigate to the “DLC” tab, and it should look like this:
5. Click “Always Enabled” and “Revalidate invalid cars”. The latter option might not be necessary in some cases, but it’s a good idea to click it anyway to avoid any potential problems that could emerge if you don’t. Theirs no consequence to doing so. You should get a confirmation window once you click it.
6. Once you’ve done those things, all that is left is to pick your DLC! Whether it be one or all of them, the choice is yours as to what you pick.
Just click “Do it!” on whatever DLC you want, and you should get a confirmation box like this:
7. Once you’re done, click “Save”.
8. Eject your USB drive.
9. Plug your USB drive back into the PS3 and copy your save data back to your PS3.
And if you did everything here, the following things should happen in-game:
And that’s really all there is to it! Enjoy!
If you have any questions or concerns, by all means, let me know! Be sure to read the FAQ's! I must note this tool is new and is a work in progress, so let me know if you have any issues with the program so that the creator can do something about it. As time progresses, the editor will get updated.
Credits to Razerman and everyone else involved for making this happen!
Note: If you're having issues with the editor that aren't related to obtaining the DLC, please post them here and not in this thread. Also, please don't quote this entire post.

And that’s really all there is to it! Enjoy!

Why do I need to be on 1.03 or higher to do this?
Answer: In my testing, I found that anything lower than that leads to some VERY strange results when I went to drive them. I believe the DLC cars themselves weren’t properly implemented in the game data until 1.03 because they worked totally fine once I reached 1.03 or higher.
Something went wrong with my save game after I used this editor, where can I retrieve my back up of the save?
Answer: In the “Backups” folder of the save editor itself. It will be in a zip file and from there, you can unzip it and simply rename the folder to whatever your save game was originally and then copy it back to the console if you need to.
