ive searched multiple times and couldn't find anything that answered my ? about the 3d of GT5 so i would like to ask what size tv everyone has and if they have 3d and plan on trying it. I have a 52" samsung led lcd 3d tv haven't bought the glasses for it yet don't have the money at moment trying to get into apt so they waiting till after x-mas after i move at moment my tv is packed so haven't seen gt on it yet, if anyone has used the 3d function how does it look?

I've got a 3D enabled projector so my screen is huge (6x5 feet) but the glasses are so expensive.
The fact that GT is already rendered to a very high standard is putting me off buying the glasses unless I can get a recommendation from somebody myself.
I think the 3D aspect applies to depth perception on the track and in the cockpit view.
^ You're not alone in wondering, I'd like to know myself if the glasses are worth the investment and what kind of improvements they make.

I tried it on a 50 and it was horrible. Nice tv and $200 glasses and I still hated it. It had a cool factor for about 5 min then I asked the owner to turn it back. Still buy the glasses for movies but don't get your hopes up on gt5. The cockpit and weather is in 3d, and so are the pop up screens. But there is just too much going on especially in cockpit view. If you play competitively you will most likely never use it. Definitely hurt my lap times.

Making this move today, will report back.

Mitsubishi 60" DLP using the Mitsubishi 3D starter kit, had all intentions of going 3D for movies. I got two younger boys that love the 3D movies. When GT5 came and it was 3D, I knew it was time to get it bought.

Expect a review this weekend. If its next week, then you can guess it worked well ....hahahaha
