I am looking for some good TV speakers that work via RCA (red-white input) that are $100 or less and this seems like a great time to buy some. Sub-woofer would be nice but not required...

Any help greatly appreciated :)

All you need is one of them and you can take your pick of PC speaker systems.

I'm looking at those and sorry for sounding like a newb but...how do I connect the above to the speakers?
(I wanna make sure if I buy the speakers that they'll work with my sub-par RCA choice as that's all I have)

Given the speaker you linked to, you will not be able to link to them without an amp.

Those Sony's are standard floor standing hi-fi speakers and as such just have binding posts (for speaker cable) as inputs, unless the signal from your TV is first amplified they will be of no use at all.

You may be better off looking at something like this.....

Nope, as mentioned in my title...only RCA output available (red white audio inputs)

Ah...good to know Scaff, thanks. Where would you recommend me finding some speakers that would be suitable without the need of an amp?

I've just edited my post with a link that may be of use.
