Generally, I'm no fan of "OMfG! I've got 1000 posts!" threads. But I've been here for more than a couple of minutes and tend not to make a habit of postwhoring for the sake of postwhoring.

Therefore I shall bask in the warm, glowing, warming glow of public, rather than creating a cryptic avatar of note for this milestone.

Yes, somehow, I've managed to rack up in 5 years and 10 months (to the day) this obscene number of posts - 25,000. And some of them weren't tripe or moderation-related!


I'd like to thank my manager, my sponsors at F-Max, The Lightly Sparkling Fish Drink, my fiancee, the Academy - especially Marisa Tomei - Tim Berners-Lee and, of course, the fabulous Jordan, creator of my primary home on that there internet. I love you all! Mwah! Mwah!

Wow! Congrats, Famine! You have 25,000 great posts, none of which anyone would call bad, and here I have under 1,500 posts, about half of which irritate the mods. Great work! On to 30,000!

25,000? If there's a number that's worth celebrating, that one is!... in my entire time on the internet, I likely have less than that on several boards... and I'm a ridiculous post-whore elsewhere.

That is a lot of posts though, I don't average a fourth more or less. And I mean in rate of postings.

Holy crap!

A year, four months and six days later and I'm at thirty thousand posts. Thirty!

I have nothing at all to add to the above, except another 20%. Also, I'd like to thank unemployment, which has been with me all through the intervening period and without which a large part of this wouldn't have been possible...
