Rollazn --- The Mustang is CRAP for putting a turbo in their car. TO begin with it's a piece of crap engine, a tiny little v-8, 4.6 liter. In the 80's and 90's the called em 5.0's, but they were always 4.6 liters. Mustangs suck, almost as much as every Honda ever made. I hate Mustangs, but still better than front wheel drive anything.

Famine --- The TT, ok, wow, it's got 225 HP, but how much Torque? 115? Not really sure but I bet the torque is WAY under the HP rating. And how much does it cost? It took them 17 years to get just a tit over my 1987 naturally aspirated 5.0 liter tuned port injection, and beat my 1987 by .5 on the 0-60. Now I fully realize that on the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times that half a second is an eternity. But my car cost like 11k brand new or something close to it, I paid 2500 for it. How much does that Audi cost? It's not a sports car at all, not whatsoever. It's a peppy little business mans car. And the Lotus, come on, that's a 100k plus car. For 50k I can get a Corvette with 450 HP, and nearly 500 ft/lbs torque. It would DESTROY your little TT and Lotus.

As far as that Ford goes, is that really a ford? Looks like a Honda. If it really is a Ford, which I believe you on, what year is it, and it must not have been released here in America. And it does not look stock at all, no headlights even.

I'd take a 2002 stock Z-28 in a race over anything Japan has to offer stock.

You don't know a damn thing about cars, do you?

Once again you show your stupity.

You have no points. You have opinions.

What do gears do, chucklehead?

I wouldn't even call them opinions. I'd just call them brainless insults from someone who thinks he knows what he's talking about.

And Mustang 5.0s aren't really 5.0L engines? That just proves how little room you have to talk about anything in this forum

I get the feeling someone's playing a joke. It is possible he is a regular.

The classic 5.0 Mustang is actually 4,942 cc. So it is a rounding issue if you are amazingly anal.

Oh my god will some one ban this retard, he obvisiouly thinks his Sir Know it all. There more things to cars then cubes, yes v8s maybe fast but a inline 6 turbor or even a inline 4 turbo is just as fast and can corner alot better. Its not all about the straight.

* I like V8s as much as the next person but i respect all types of cars from inline 4s to V12s.

More Japanese car bashing? Sheesh! Japanese cars can't get a break, can they?

And if you want a twin-engine example of Japanese engineering, I'll give you three.

Suzuki Cultus Pikes Peak
" Escudo Pikes Peak
Pennzoil Toyota Tacoma Pikes Peak

It's unlikely you're still listening, but hey, I've got to try.

As I said, I hate the Audi TT, but... The 225hp Audi TT has 207lbft of torque. Now let's remind ourselves of your initial argument - that a "piddly little 1.7 liter 4 cylinder" isn't as good as your car's and that you "can't polish a turd" - the inference being that no matter how much you spend on a "piddly little 1.7 liter 4 cylinder" it won't be as good. Well, stock for stock, the TT annihilates you - and your "can't polish a turd" point throws the costing argument straight out of the window. And in 17 years (really 15, but who's counting) Audi have sorted a 4-pot which will take a V8 - THAT's technological advancement.

A 225hp Audi TT owns you - and the driver could buy your car without thinking about it, so literally owns you. And it's a 2-seater coupe/roadster with no room - which plants it straight in the sportscar neighbourhood - and not even the quickest car Audi make (there's a V6 TT, the RS4 and RS6 as well).

Fine - go and do it then. But you've already blown your OWN costing argument into touch with "you can't polish a turd". The Exige is yet another 4 cylinder, non-turbo car which will dump on you all day, and take the 450hp Corvette to school around a track.

Yes - it's a Ford. It is - as I already said - the Ford RS200 Evolution. You have the whole internet at your disposal - use it to educate yourself by searching for it.

It was built in 1985/6 to compete in the Group B class of the World Rally Championship. It was designed by Ford Europe, styled by Reliant in the UK, had a Cosworth engine (UK) and was given suspension by Tickford (UK). It holds the official world production road car 0-60mph record at 3.06s (as I already said). And it DOES have headlights - just that one has them taped up for the track day. Only 200 examples were built - less than half were Evolution versions, although no-one's exactly sure.

And you don't own a 2002 Z-2/8, so they won't let you race it. 'Tard.

All of the cars above carry 1.8 litre 4 cylinder engines. Price notwithstanding - you already negated it with "you can't polish a turd" - they will ALL take you down.

His comment on the RS200, is that really a Ford really made me laugh. Well he's been banned now, pity cos I wante to see you all carry on owning him.

If I can pull up stuff on the Porsche Bi-Turbos that ran the Nurburgring 24 (now that the thread is more civilized seemingly), I'll be sure to give out websites and stuff on it to further my points from my first post to this thread.

By the way, I'm going to kill a few of my brain cells by looking at this riceboypages.com deal while I'm at it...

The Ferrari F40 is a pretty awesome machine. Don't dare say it's "rice," unless you're nuts.

I know F-Body (oops, the "undisclosed member" had a name... oh well, you knew who I was talking about in the first place, right?) said that the RS200 looks like a Honda. I think it is a quite unique Ford. And I'm not sucking up to Famine's avatar. It is actually a pretty unique and pretty interesting machine. Four-wheel drive, sells in GT2 for 100,000 Cr, and I think it's pretty cool.

By the way, I am still searching the 'net for references to the Porsches I discussed earlier. Anyhow, reply on.

It may not be the Porsche Bi-Turbo I had in mind, but this is kind of what it looks like:

http://www.nurburgring.de/event.php3?event=031011_r&id=62&lang=eng

I'll try to find more pictures if I can, but the Bi-Turbos did about 700 horsepower at Nurburgring. The trunk on a regular Porsche is at the front, so I'm sure to add more ponies, a second engine was put in to make 700hp at least. It is anything but "rice." As far as F-body goes, Porsches are real sportscars. A twin-engine one is twice as fun and twice as powerful. Maybe Porsche can look into GTS in ALMS and LMGTS at Le Mans for a future sportscar showdown. They just need to be engineered for the long haul.

i dont know about the porsche you are talking about, but Biturbo doesnt mean two motors, it means two turbos

There is a RS200 Evolution here in Sweden.
It isn't standard tough. 2 F1 filters, £10.000 each,
5" exhaust system and some other things that will scare every
Porsche and Ferrari owner, gives the car 780BHP
From the point clutch is realeased the car accelerates 0-60 in 2.05 sec.

By the way...
It street legal :trouble:

Japanese cars have "some" good engines for example the 2jz in the supra and lexus is300. Not all imports are civics with their 1.6 liter engines. BTW thats how I like my beeer too, lol.

I also domestics like the 427 stingray, ZL-1 camaro, and the gt350.
