Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire

fast-autos.net
Building on the marque’s core values, Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S. Has created the Bugatti Veyron Bleu Centenaire, a unique model to celebrate the hundred year old history of the company. This special model takes up the traditional Bugatti two-tone-specification, but portrays it in one rather than two colours: in the most known light shaded Bugatti blue. The Centenaire’s unique combination of a ”sprintblue matt” and ”sprintblue gloss” hence offers a new impression of the two-tone-scheme known so far with parts of the engine also covered in this traditional Bugatti Blue.

The roof-trim-stripes and the exterior rearview mirrors are of polished, anodised aluminium. A special wheel design has been added – enhanced by a bright red brake-capillar. The grills at the front and at the side air intakes are in mirror shine.

The interior of the Centenaire is fitted in a special «snowbeige» leather with quilting on the seats. The central console is covered in the same leather. New LED lights, Park Distance Control and a rearview camera have become part of the standard equipment for all Bugatti Veyrons from this year onwards. The Bleu Centenaire shares all performance characteristics of other Veyron models performance-, acceleration- and deceleration characteristics which have been highly praised ever since the Bugatti Veyron first appeared on the scene. The car will cost 1,35 Million Euro exclusive taxes and transportation.

Mansory Linea Vincero

fast-autos.net
“Vincerò! Vincerò! ¬– I will win“, that is the self-confident exclamation from Nessun Dorma, probably the most famous tenor aria from Giacomo Puccini´s opera Turandot. And Vincerò is also the name of the latest automobile accessory line by refining specialist Mansory. Mansory already finds many parallels for the new name: The plot of the aria stems from a Persian tale of 1001 days which also relates to the standard motorisation of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 with 1,001 hp. On the other hand, it should also refer to the origin of Kourosh Mansory, the founder and CEO of Mansory Corporation. And the opera has another reference to the offered product portfolio by ending after three acts. The LINEA Vincerò edition is also not infinite – the project is strictly limited.

It goes without saying that such a sonorous name is only suitable for an absolutely high-quality programme. Already the Bugatti Veyron serial edition sets standards in terms of price, maximum speed and engine power and leaves its competitors far behind when a contender for the super sports car is to be crowned. Whoever now thinks that everything possible has been achieved, can be proved wrong. Already visually, the changes clearly show. The front part gets a comprehensive face-lift including modified wings, a shorter hood and a striking front apron. The LED daytime running lights integrated in the front mount and the implemented stylised “V” as a special tribute to the name “Vincerò” draw even more attention to the car. The newly developed side skirts are the visual and aerodynamic connection between the axles. Larger air outlets at the sides and at the back render optimal engine cooling and in combination with the new diffuser, they underline the powerful car design. Mansory manufactures nearly all auto body parts from ultra-light and high-strength carbon. The applied hardening technique with strong pressure and high temperatures in the autoclave thereby enormously improve the material quality.

In order to perfect the entire visual appearance, Mansory devised new, striking fully-forged turbine-design wheels for the Linea Vincerò in serial dimensions.

Also, the power engine is refined by Mansory. Technical innovation is combined with technical expertise and thereby, an increased cooling air supply and optimised exhaust system produce an unbelievable 1109 hp and 1310 Nm.

The interior is exclusive and yet functional. Also here, Mansory understands how luxury and technology can be harmonically combined. When traditional craftsmanship, selected materials and stylish design merge, the result is an interior of automobile excellence.

This mainly shows by the LED lights of the new Ambiente-Illumination-System which are fitted in the seats, door linings and the dashboard. The entire passenger compartment glows in a soft light which does not only render a comfortable feeling, but also emphasises the high-quality carbon applications and the especially grained leather. The ergonomically designed airbag steering wheel is both sportive and particularly pliable and is equipped with rocker switches.

Something about that first one looks terrible to me. But that second one is the sex for sure.

Nice, jeez 1100bhp is insane!!

Once I raced a Saudi Prince who was driving Veyron 2 years ago, on a road we call the mad mile.

Was awsome!

That carbon fiber one is a really cool machine.

The blue one.... Meh. Autoblog put it nicely I think:

Given the level of bespoke specification that is part-and-parcel with the Bugatti Veyron ordering experience, we doubt there have ever been two identical cars built. As such, each example is something of a one-off, and by this rationale, the Bleu Centenaire is, paradoxically, just another Veyron.

Actually, I like the "Cordon Bleau" edition more than the other. Mainly because I just like the color. A lot.

After seeing the car in person, however, it kinda slides off into the "meh" category. I mean, I'd love to drive one, but it really just doesn't feel as special as it should.

I am not fond if the bare carbon Bugatti, but I am fond of the 1100hp :D

Does the crayon painted blue one come with 1100hp also?

They both look great, but I'd go with the blue one. Somehow it's just more....Bugatti-ish.

Mansory are well known for their tasteless rape of other expensive supercars, but for some reason i don't mind them doing it to a Veyron. I guess i just don't mind something i already dislike been messed around with. The blue one now looks like it's made from cheap plastic.

I prefer the blue one. Only because it reminds me of the eb110 having that colour. I would still rather a zonda though.

Oh, I didn't notice the carbon model was Mansory, that explains the extra power :dunce:

Now I realise why the Mattel® blue model by Bugatti has the standard power plant.

jeez bugatti is becoming a bit of an overwashed sellout.
trendy claims for exclusivity to flog to the bleating toffs still dont make it a new model!

I agree that the blue bugatti is ugly, just because I dont like the colour, rims ... and the car is not so diferrent from the "old" bugatti Veyron version! :yuck:

But the carbon Veyron is very cool:

- Lots of HP :sly:👍
- Lots of Speed :sly:👍
- and will cost a Lot os €€€€€ to.

Something about that first one looks terrible to me. But that second one is the sex for sure.
I agree with both of your replies.
That matt or flat is just a terrible idea on the first one. Hopefully its not just paint without the clearcoat because thats a paint to keep clean. Plus that smurf blue just does not look good on it.
I usually dont like bare carbon fiber but dang it looks really good on that 2nd car.

Bugatti announce the 'Roland Garros' Edition Veyron (in White) to conincide with the French Open tennis.... Ah, no already been done by Peugeot on the 205.

Maybe that's what Bugatti are turning in to... obviously much quicker and more expensive, but equally tacky marketing to the French mass market manufacturers.

Technically, you can have the car in whatever color combo you want. (and I should hope so, expensive as it is!)

I think (had I the insane amount of money,) I'd have mine in LNER Garter Blue with Black details...and maybe they can also paint the wheels red, too. and give me brass nameplates that say "Mallard."

Okay, maybe the nameplates are a bit much. But if LNE 4468 is taken as a license plate....

It is such a same that normal people can never experience a car like that. It is not fare that cars of that kind are only enjoyed by the rich and famous.

Interesting. Bugatti just announced the Mansory one, yet one has been for sale in Dubai since Jan 3rd., at Prestige.

Just like all the special edition Mustangs (GT500 supersnake, bullitt, GT350H, etc.,etc.)there are so may of these speical edition Veyrons that they're not even worth being called special.
