Ralf Little has confirmed that there is going to be a 7th series of the hit comedy Two Pints. The show was left some what open at the end of series 6 with Gaz accepting Donna's proposal, Donna's younger brother Dean being invited to stay and knocking up Louise and the closure of the Archers and the horror special that wasn't a special. 4 of the 5 main characters will return, with Johnny (played by Ralf Little) being the absentee.

Sheridan Smith had said on the Paul O'Grady show earlier in the year that the crew wanted to do a last ever series in November if they could get the cast together, although the cast themselves don't want it to be the last. Will Mellor had also hinted on interviews in Loose Women and The Paul O'Grady Show that they would keep on making it for as long as they could.

The show is expected to air in 2008, with a rumoured 13 episodes.

Good. I've been waiting for another series for ages, I just assumed they'd called it a day and that was that.

Where exactly has Johnny gone, then? I suspect the show won't feel the same without him, but maybe they'll introduce a new male character. 3 women to 1 guy seems a bit too unbalanced.

I'm looking forward to it, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's nowhere near as good because of the sizeable gap between the last seasons.

No word on what exactly will be happening with Johnny and whether he'll be replaced or not but...we'll see. It certainly won't have the same feel, I mean it's like having Friends without Joey or Chandler really but I'm sure they'll keep up the laughs.
