Two Questions...

1) How come on most of the forum pages, the "Forum Jump" thingie is on the left side, but on several forum pages (mainly the Search pages), it's on the right side? Just curious.

2) When using the "Report to Moderators" link, is an explanation in the "Reason" box needed? It's always kind of self-explanatory (spam, pointless posts, rudeness, or harrassment)...

I don't know, you'll need to ask the vB developers that. That's where it is located in the default templates and I haven't changed it.

No, it's optional and not needed unless you want to point out something specific.

In addition to what youth said, would it be too much to ask to have the forum jump menu moved in to the top of the page in the new version of GTP? I dont like scrolling to the bottom of a forum/thread to go to a different forum. I'm lazy.

No, the forum jump will not be moved to the top because it contains a lot of code, and as a result would make the page "top-heavy" and slow down the loading of the actual content in the rest of the page.

Matrix-- Just hit "End" on your keyboard to easily get down to the bottom.

BTW Jordan, it looks like a reason is needed foryhe "Report to Moderators" feature... I tried sending in a blank one, and it was rejected because there was no text in the text field.

Also, is it working yet? I've sent in a couple since I posted that thread about the feature not working, so I was just curious as to whether or not it's working now...?

Ah, I wasn't aware of that, I should have tested it first. Anyway, just type a random word, it doesn't really matter as long as a moderator gets the email.

No prob. I even have one of the buttons on my mouse programmed for "End" for that exact reason!

Doug-- Agreed. Most of the forums I visit are grouped at the very top and the very bottom of the Forum Jump... lots of "space" in the middle. :smilewink
