One hell of a build...Should be at 900rwhp when on pump gas according to the builder.

" Should be at 900rwhp when on pump gas according to the builder "

you plan on running pro stock NHRA. ,your only 350 hp off , and with pump gas , where do you get pump gas that will take care of a 900rwhp ?

Pump gas will take care of 900rwhp if the engine is big enough and the intake charge had adequate cooling, the engine being 8 litres so thats around 140-145hp/L (after converting the whp to a gestimate flywheel hp) with a rich full load and the correct timing it should be ok.

Curious ? Whats been done to the engine ? What is the actual hp at the flywheel ?

He doesn't go into details unless you ask, it has twin T76 turbos (the two snales) and I assume all supporting mods.

They wont know the flywheel hp, I am also assuming it is got built then it will later be tuned in the car, 900whp on pump gas is the estimate from the builder. Which if that is true the flywheel hp could be anything from about 1050~1150 depending on drivetrain losses

Jesus. Why?

So how, pray tell, is it going to be able to turn into McDonalds without taking out three kids and a minivan?

It won't be any worse than it would be with a 429 or 460 under the hood...

In fact, it'll probably have better weight balance than that considering the Viper engine is noticeably lighter than the old 385 series Ford big blocks.

Isn't he going to need some thicker wheels on the back?

Sounds like a few of you maybe thought this was my car...Its definitely not, but I wish it was. One of the few Mustangs I've ever drooled over.

I don't see any reason it wont be drivable.

I don't think anyone thought that.

Only thing missing is puppy dog's tails...

I kind of got what two snails was, from the thread title, but I was perplexed as to what was meant by two snakes... two Cobras? Two Vipers... oh.... a Viper in a Cobra.

Thumbs up for an interesting build... I'd like to see how the car turns out when it's done.

Are we looking at the same picture??

Anyways, I read about this before, it's just awesome!

I never really liked that generation of the Mustang, though it has grown on me over the years. He had a good start, since it's black. But then he has clear corners. :yuck: The wheels don't match the car all that well. And the side exhaust seems rather pointless and somewhat cheap.

He said that he expected the exhaust to be a love-it-or-hate-it feature.

I think it looks good, but I agree that he needs some racier looking wheels.

I really would like to see a set of slicks bolted on and the 1/4 mile times.

Haha with slicks I bet it would barely get past the 60 foot mark, it would probably tear a driveshaft or break something.
