Tyre confusion

I'm doing formula B in career mode, when I'm in the garage changing my tuning set up I have the choice of these tyres

Faretti FB full wet
Faretti FB intermediate
Yiro FB slick
Faretti FB slick

But when I edit my pit strategy I have these choices of tyre

Extreme wet
Wet
Intermediate
Hard
Medium
Soft

I don't understand this. Why do I have a different choice of tyres in a pit stop than I start with??
