Tyre designations

Hi there, can anybody point me to or help me with the different designations of tyres eg. is N2 tyres the same as SM tyres ?

Maybe like a list or somethin' ?

What do you mean? Like R5 is RSS and R4 is RS?
in that case:
N1=E
N2=COM
N3=RD
S1=SH
S2=SM
S3=SS
R1=RSH
R2=RH
R3=RM
R4=RS
R5=RSS

COM=Comfort
RD=Road
SH=Sports Hard
SM=Sports Medium
SS=Sports Soft
RSH=Racing Super Hard
RH=Racing Hard
RM=Racing Medium
RS=Racing Soft
RSS=Racing Super Soft
