I am making this thread because I have done a couple of searches to look for more info on the UCD, but haven't found much.

My problem is that I just got the Chap 2J in my UCD, on section 2 of 5.

Each section is six cars, starting top to bottom each race cycles six cars.

If I do two races, it will move the 2J from section 2 to 5, and then I cannot do any more races, or it will be gone. The car is 14,665,276 while I have 12,030,456.

I have completed all of the seasonals, and I am at 200%. What can I still do to earn money without moving the days? Also, feel free to add any tips you know about the UCD to others can search and find it. I do apologize if something like this exists, but I couldn't find it.

I have read the the Ferrari F40 can be sold for a lot. I would be happy to send you one to sell, I won't be home until 9:00pm or 10:00pm EST though.

EDIT: A search of the forum I found that the F40 resells for 125K... it will take about 10 to get what you need. Perhaps others will donate.

I genuinely appreciate your kindness, but I believe it only goes for 149,000. At that rate, even duping and receiving three per each GMT transition, 450k/day would still take a while. At the very worst case scenario, I would wait until the next DT/TT, and then buy it.

If I only had one PS3, and only one copy of GT5, and one account, I would be okay with it, but I take so much advantage of the system, I don't want to gain that kind of advantage from a person who could do other things with the one trade per day :/

I haven't completed a lot of the licence tests, and challenges, and things like that, but I don't want to test it and lose a section. Especially because we had that 2 mil per race b spec. with 200%, one race could get me there, but I want a sure thing before I waste it. I have two accounts I use (one per ps3), and my other account started when the GT5 PS3 came out, and I never got the Chap's, so I don't want to miss it on this one. I heard I could just get a level 23 random ticket, and keep loading it and reloading my save until I got it, but I'd rather not abuse my system like that. Although that statement is a bit ignorant, not knowing how many level 23's there are. I infer more than a handful.

I believe 10 cars sold at 125k will be 1.25m. I need 2.63m, so I believe it will take roughly 22.

Yea, I wasn't sure if the 125k was pre-200% bonus. In that case it becomes much more difficult. You could also use your second account to race your Remote Drivers on your account with the 2J or (I have never borrow glitched) but I could put mine online and you could borrow glitch if you wanted to attempt that.

If the car is in the second group, you can do three more races. If you do the 650PP race in the current seasonal at 200% you will receive 895,200 credits each time. Do three of these and you should end up with 14,716,056 total credits which is just enough to buy the 2J! However, you must win all the races or else you will be end up short on total credits. Do you feel lucky:)?

I have no clue how to do that. I was hoping more for other techniques, but now I will research more on "remote racing." So doing these remote races will not advance the dealership any? (just to be clear)

Dude, itll come in the ucd again one day.

Dude, playing since release day, over 12 accounts, way over 100,000 miles, 1500 cars, and maybe a billion in cars, I have only found it once. So yes, one day it will probably happen again, but I'd rather get it now then wait for another magical moment. Thank you for all of your input [sardonic tone].

I do not feel lucky lol. It took a couple of shots, but I won that race once with the BMW F1. I tried once since it showed up in the UCD with the Zonda R, and I have found me trying to win it isn't worth the risk, compared to doing something else that has no risk.

Firstly, I would check using one of the many UCD lists floating around, to see how long it will be before the 2J shows up again for you. I would recommend This one (Click "download" in the top right)

You enter the top eight cars currently in your UCD, and it shows you where you currently are in the list, and also you can scroll through to see what will be coming up soon.

If it turns out there's no 2Js for a while, then run the 650PP race at Madrid that is part of Online A-Spec Challenge 2, it's much easier than the SSR5 race, and you can win comfortably in the BMW McLaren. You'll get 854k per win.

I agree with TopGearFTW, but if you just cant wait or dont have any luck with that research into remote racing and the bspec grinding widget. Using your secondary account you can run all of your primary account's bspec bobs and earn cash without advancing the UCD. It might take a while but with 6 drivers and 200% it might be your best bet.

Good call. The Grand Valley race in the first A-spec Challenge is also a very easy 800,000+ credits if it is still available. I just used that one the other day along with an instant 500k from an unfinished TT to buy a 2D.

It's not that risky, just restart from within the race itself a couple times until you win then do it again. If it's being tough and you get frustrated just quit before exiting the race screens and saving. But if you already have 1,500 cars I guess you already know that trick.

It's over multiple accounts, my 1st main is just over 1000, and my secondary main is around 350. It's all my accounts together, I'm not as successful as the individuals who clear 2000 on a single account.

I am attempting the b spec now over remote racing, I think I can only do three races and then I have to cash in, or I don't get it. I am going to see how much I get, and then try the Madrid. Clubman long is not a favorite of mine, I didn't know anything else was still available in that price range. Those turns, elevation changes, combined with the darkness requires 70-85% concentration. (I usually watch tv while I drive, and 30 Rock requires 25-50% lol)

This is what you should be doing.

There's 13 different possibilities. What I "should be doing" is subjective. I find it unlikely I will get it on the first shot, don't want to keep trying to get 70's tickets, and if you are suggesting to get one and keep re using it and re loading until I get what I want, I'd rather beat on a PS3 for that purpose.

So "what I should be doing" is pretty stupid.

Roughly an hour ago, I had made about 240k. So I think I am going to continue this. If anyone would like to donate a vehicle to my cause, preferably an F40 or other high valued vehicle, I will be sure repay (eventually lol)

My account name is SDRAWTNORF (Frontwards, backwards).

??? It takes an average of 2 minutes per load and, with 13 different possibilities, should take you an average of ~15 minutes to get one through reloading.

15 minutes is a shorter amount of time than watching your Bob roll around the 'Ring just once, let alone the 3 times necessary to acquire the funds (assuming you win all 3) or waiting days for someone to remote race for you to get enough credits.

Well one in thirteen is different than it happening the thirteenth time. Each time there is a less than one in ten chance, so it could take a while. And I was being more critical there because I felt criticized that trying to make money was a bad idea, compared to trying to dupe, and wasting start ups.

I'm not sure what you're talking about here...but right now I am running all six drivers remotely, and at least pen generous person is going to help me out with 150k donation.

I'd rather get something out of my work, in this case b spec whatever. Instead of trading, just to be forced to dupe.

Nope it ain't stupid. Your narc attitude on the other hand is pretty lame.
Go ahead, collect your donated f40s for the next few days.

Some people can't recognize good advice even if it bites em in the ass.

Okay, so the average is the 7th time, but let's say you have bad luck and don't get it in the first 13 times. How long would it take before you'd break even time-wise ?

Three races = ~19 minutes/each with load times x 3 = ~57 minutes

57/2 = 28.5 tries before you break even time-wise ... The odds of NOT getting it in 28 tries are astoundingly low

That's fine if that's not the route you want to go, but to say it's a stupid idea in a thread where YOU'RE ASKING FOR ADVICE is mind-boggling. It would, by far, be the fastest, most reliable way to get it.

My advice would be to not worry and just keep on grinding away. The car WILL come up again, and I know it seems like forever for a specific car to come back up in the UCD, there are ways to speed it up.

When you have your 200% bonus, seasonals can get you 800k plus per race. The way I grind I believe is the most economical way, which is 5 race cycles. Every 5 races (not online races, online it would be 5 rooms entered) is a full refresh of the UCD.

If you actually run the races, every 5 races is 4 million dollars which easily gets you every single car in the UCD usually. But you dont HAVE to run the races at all to refresh the UCD, you just have to enter them if you're already up to 20 million and don't want the prize or experience. Just start race, pause, exit race 5 times. It takes like 30 seconds to do it 5 times, then fully exit back to the main menu. You can easily get every single used car in the game in just a few days that way.

And also, everyone tells me this isn't true. But personally I don't believe in coincidence. I think either using certain cars, or using certain cars in certain races can increase your chances of getting certain cars in the UCD.

I was in the same exact spot you are. The 2J, 2D and the 69 GT40. They NEVER came up for me. Using a certain car in a 650pp seasonal got the 2D to come up right away, which was too much for the $ I had so i was pissed. Then the 2J came up in another cycle when I had enough. I bought that. A few cycles later the 2D and GT40 came up in the same cycle. Obviously I could only buy 1, which was the 2D because I had seen that FAR less than the GT40. And within a handfull more cycles both the 2J and GT40 had come up again.

Those cars almost never come up, and using a certain car in a certain race got those particular cars to come up many times in a "fairly" short amount of time. The car was the Mazda787B and the race was the 650pp seasonal on Madrid, which I think you can still run. You may get the same results on the new 650 too, but idk. It was also giving me alot of Veyrons, which was nice because I'm trying to get every color.

Try it out, it may help. And I'd also be interested to know if it actually works like that, or if it's coincidence.

You need to host the remote races on the account that the car you want is NOT on. Then you can host as many races as you want either manually starting races or using the widget. Doing this will only cycle ucd on the host account. Make sure your races have the maximum participants (other friends) as well as the 6 Bobs on your main account. This will help to maximise payouts.

It isn't stupid at all thats the quickest way to get it. All you need do is trade for ticket or blag one. do a save game and open if you dont get it restore save game and repeat, As there are only 13 cars on the ticket it wont take very long.

As you would rather beat up your PS3 than do this, Then suffer the fact you going wait again and again LOL

I'm afraid that really was just coincidence mate ;)
I'm logging the UCD with a couple of other guys in this thread, and everyone follows one of two possible (fixed) car lists.

Some cars can take 2000 days between appearances, and then show maybe 3 times in a few days. Is very frustrating because, of course, you never seem to have the money when they do show
