Im doing the SS11 enduro. with a pretty stock GTone(as far as stock goes with one of those anyways.). And I'm smoking the 787B. I've lapped it once, This shouldn't happen. I've started a new race just to check the telemetry to see if the AI is letting off the gas at all. Well it isn't. How are they THIS slow:confused:

Hmm. That is strange. It has happened to me a couple of times in various situations. It once happened to me when I was driving my Rabrig NSX. With a tuned HP lower than the 787B, I was very much surprised. However, what other cars were in there? I thought I once heard someone say on here that the AI used power-multiplyers to level out the HP inbalances.

I have also lapped a 787B on lap 33 in this race (50 lap race). I was driving also the 787B. My car had worn oil at the start so I had no power advantage. For drivers with some experience the AI really suck. However for newcomers to the game the AI still offers a suitable challange!
I no longer worry about how good/bad the AI is and just race to try to improve lap times.
Can I blame the AI for corrupting my memory card which had my 200 cars and all gold license passes on it?

You should do some of the pro league races at laguna seca with GT40's the AI doesnt know what a braking zone is. They go suscidal into all of the corners and brake after the point where a normal driver would have picked back up on the gas to blast out of the corners.

I was kind of dreading the SSR11 Enduro because it's my worst track by far, and often the AI is pretty hooked up there since it's a Japanese track. But I too found it was a smear. I did it in a stock R390, which I had never driven ever, and I put a 2-lap hurting on the TS020. For some resaon, the AI just does not set a good pace in this event.

Sometimes it seems like the AI cars don't give everything they have. That is strange, since you'd expect them to be perfect since they are computer-controlled. Sometimes the AI is given an unfair advantage too.

I have noticed the same thing, escpecially are cars that are a little tricky to handle in their stock form.

Personally, I find it refreshing to not be the only one on the track that hits the occassional wall.

It's not too great when an AI car slams into you at over 100mph out of a corner, into a wall, and gets you stuck there. They really should've made better AI for this game.

That's wierd. I did it in a maxed out ZZII. I could only just keep ahead of the GT one. The 787b should be way quicker. :odd:

I Honestly believe if GT3 had a Volume type switch to Crank up the AI cars to levels as high as Impossible mode would make the game so many more times better, Sometimes you can fall behind the 787B in a really good race, Then you will get close to the last lap and they would pit so you can drive right pass them! They need to fix that!!! I don't want to win always.

:D Even if someone else has already said so: "Welcome to GTP Forums!!!"
I like your attitude. 👍 There're LOTs of us here who don't think it's "KOOL" to blow out every race you can using the fastest car in your garage. Check the "Write-Ups' Forum for a bunch of fun challenges. Can't remember right now but am pretty sure I found a combo that only let me beat the fastest AI at the Tokyo Rte 246 Enduro by less than a SECOND! Now that's "RACING!" Enjoy your stay...UB57 :D

come on ppl you should all know by now that the AI sucks on endurances. They made it this way so that if you suck you still wont waste 2 hours on a race and lose it! if you want marginally better AI drive in professional, although they are still quite easy in a F1 or skyline

I don't like to blow the crap out of the comp. But i don't really like to lose, especially not on an endurance, I like to just barely win by less than a second. I get a serious sense of acomplishment.
It's a definate turn on;) .

What is this i keep hearing about STOCK cars??? :odd: every car i have is fully moded, every time i get a new car i make sure i got enought to...just go a lot faster...its funny, my friend only thinks horsepower speeds his cars up, so everything else on his cars are junk  he will be raceing like a car with 800hp lets say, ill have one with 600, and i would be staying with him on the initial acceliration at the start of a race, then the cars get grip..blah blah blah he pulls away  but then at the turnes he slams into the wall and by then, ive already won :trouble:

The AI sucks we all know that
when i race em nowadays i use a ride wid 500-630 bhp, this is done by removing the stage 4 or 3 sumtimes. cos i find it really boring gappin the AI, i stick wid em and drive normally occasionally overtakin em and fallin back. i especially enjoy it wen the AI attempts to overtake(like on the straight outside the second tunnel to the hairpin on trial mountain) and i keep up wid him and he eventually falls back behind me.

spike is teh coll... :D

It'd be easier to pull out correctly spelled words from his post, surely? :D

The reading and comprehension skills are not remarkably high, either.

How many times do you see "read this first" and the rest of the forum rules mentioned around these posts?

I've done this race with an FO90/s (i didn't have all day) and i lapped the viper concept car 27 times (i counted :p) and i thought the others cars were going very slow as well.
