Ugliest 80s car?

I thought this would be intersting to see what people think that the ugliest car to come out the Thatcher decade (1980s) was.

I think that the 1st generation Micra/March, the Fiat Regata and the Ford Escort (US model) are the ugliest 80s cars.

Except it's not. It was proof that Ferrari (and Pininfarina) could design pretty much any crapheap they wanted, and people would still buy them because of the badge. Cue in the 360 Modena, the Enzo and the 612 Scaglietti as further proof they're reliying on their heritage.

:lol: So I'm not the only one who thinks ferrari's styling has gone down the shi**er.

the subaru XT or whatever it was, that last year renault that was sold in U.S, was the lancia scorpion sold in the 80's?
the lambo urraco/jalpa, alot of cars were ugly in the 80's.

hmm there were so many ugly cars in the early 80's that I wouldnt even know where to start. Most of the trucks looked decent but wow the cars were just terrible!! By the time the late 80's rolled around they got a little better. Here is one that comes to mind, the Dodge 600 :yuck: :

OK I think this takes the cake in the event of worlds ugliest car. How often do you drive a car that gets infested with termites?!

Theres a really ugly Ford convertable, Its called something like capri, I dunno.
 
Yeah, I was sticking with cars sold in America. Here's another - it shows in the picture, but it's worse in real life: the rear belt line suddenly slopes up 5 or 10 degrees; just kinks right at the wheel arch. It looks like they backed into something and bent the rear end up.

I've got a few more to add, if I can think of them and find them.
 
The Renault 9 and 11 are if anything, even worse than the Fuego......Renault are lookign upon their heritage of ugly cars in their current range!

One of my friend's has a Fuego Turbo in thier garage, under several tons of boxes.

I think the Sundance was ugly, unfortunately it was sold into the '90s, so was the Cutlass Supreme, yikes!

looking at every pick, and i fully agree with all of u, ugly cars, but may i combined ugly, with, outstandingly awful performance...yes? excellent
ok i was lookingat the top gear website (as u do) and i looked at the 'carbage', not a typo btw, literal trash from people who wanted there cars to look 'cool'...ok well, i think i found the ugliest monstrosity in the history of humanity...oh sorry not sure from what ancient time period this, nasty cardboard box of a car is from, but rest assured, its ugly, as well as...well, petrifyingly ugly

Actually, it's the world's best-kept secret, but the French suck at fashion, as well. It maybe be "fashionable" or chic, but it's all ugly.
