Hey guys,

I've only just noticed: I'm a Premium member. I never actually purchased Premium membership myself, so someone bestowed it upon me.

I was wondering who that someone might be and why they did it because Ireally would like to thank them for it.

Anyone? Come on, no-one's going to get mad ...

:lol: So someone gave you premium, but didn't tell you they had. So you have no idea who it was. Congratulations on the premium anyway and come on whoever did it, own up now, you have had your fun. Why does things like this never happen to me.;)
 
I have a few suspects as to who it might be as it came shortly after I made a ginormous post on the 2010 F1 silly season that seemed to impress a few.

Yeah. I was actually going to start a second account and let this one be locked, but then I noticed the Premium-ness. The neam meant something back to me when I joined circa 2004, but I went inactive late in 2005 and well into 2006 and it lost all meaning. I've always hated it since then.

Yes you are correct, they are all quite possible. But if I was to ever give someone Premium, which is unlikely right now, I would post them a visitor message or PM to tell them that I had. I am sure you will find out who it was eventually though.

Why change your name? Your old one was perfectly good, it took me a while to work out who you where.

Changing your avatar at the same time makes it even more difficult to spot.

hey congrats on going Premium, ive been upgraded to Junior Member i guess in due time i'll get that passer-by dropping a premium on me. i say enjoy it, tho it is a little strange the person didnt inform you, buts whats a life without surprises right, happy tuning!
