Rome Circuit 2
On lap 1 of 10, I spun out in my Motorsport Elise in the hairbin at Rome 2. By the end of that lap I was 15 seconds behind the leader and in last. There were 3 Sport190's and 2 Motorsport Elises ahead of me. By lap 6 I was still in last but only 13 secs behind. As my super-slick tires warmed up I steadly gained ground on the rest of the field. With a shicking lap time of 1min 29.359 seconds I was in 3rd, passing the 3 sport 190's on the last turn, I was still 10secs back with 3 laps to go. I thought to myslef that I would lose, but I was regaining hope everylap as I could see the 2nd placed Motorsport Elise. I passed him with ease and set my sights on the grey Motorsport Elise that was still ahead of me with one lap 2go. As I finished lap 9 of 10 I was 1.338 seconds behind him. I entered turn one slowly and gunned the gas to close right on his bumber, I then passed him heading out of turn 2 and towards the first time split. I was .370 seconds ahead of him. For the rest of the tal I proceeded causiosly entering the turns. At split 2, after the hairbin I was 3.770seconds ahead with only a few corners to go. I felt as if the win was there until the double apex corner at the top of the hill. I hit the curbs going to fast. I spun, the win was lost!?! Until the stupid grey Motorsport Elise hit my rear bumber correcting the spin. I sped up and won the race by 1.480 seconds.
If you believe this story is false/fiction talk to SpoonSports he was there watching the race as I drove my British Racing Green MotorSport Elise to victory.
