Yeah, I'm so sorry for the wrong and long deadline. Just thought the exam week is going to take my time away from the PC (apparently not) so I thought just make it longer. But really, if there is less than 10 entries by this week, i'll keep this comp open. ;)

i got an interesting idea for those who dont have one.

do one where the car is entering the tunnel but the camera is on the other side of the tunnel ( the end) so you can see the car enter the "long" tunnel.
 
i got an INCREDIBLY lucky shot this morning.. especially for GT4.
All of the other shots i got from this point were dull like usual, but this one popped for some reason.. :D

There is no picture of the car going into the tunnel (more or less) and that the shot is totally edited! However, the shot fits similar to another comp. Maybe you submit in a wrong thread eh?

Edit: Whoops, wrong assumption! :ouch: Should have clicked the full view..... but still, you should have read the rules carefully. The preview can't be edited in any way as well. Should look just like your full size image. 👍

Anyways, keep those entries coming! Only a few days left to enter. I might enter as well.....

Sorry I had to ask, you being a PS chop-guru and all.


I may change my entry, If I can actually execute my original Idea. I'm trying to drift between two cars while entering the tunnel, I almost had it twice last night, but I hit the rear-end of lead car both times. I'll get it, hopefully before the comp closes, that gives me like 3 days or 6 hours of race time (due to my busy schedule).

If anyone else can do it, I'd love to see it! (then I won't have to do it, lol)
 
Lately my shots have been turning out a lot worse than they look on my TV screen, so I might run right up to the wire with my submission.

To match the "I'm going in" theme as best I could, I wanted a tunnel entrance that was part of a bigger structure and showed it, so it actually looked like I was going in to something. That said, I also didn't want the end of the tunnel visible; to me that just says "I'm going through real quick".
 
The car MUST be visible, correct?
 
you guys could use a 'first-person' shot; showing the interior of the vehicle.. but you have to save as "film" then "develop" it in the "photo lab" @ home; and transfer.. blah. You need to find the right angle as well, because iirc, it's a "Drive" mode angle.

Sorry for the off topic post, but what does making it film do?
I probably will not be able to enter this one, but hopefully next time I will.
 
Saving as "film" & "developing" it will allow it to show the interior of the car; the camera doesn't do this naturally, so it won't save that way to the USB. It wont even show that way during the replay. It seems more of a from-the-bumper-shot during replay; like as if you were to play in first-person, for example. For some reason, Polyphony made it so that it would only show the interior on 'film developing'. Wierd, but it works.
