Uncharted 3 GOTY help...

I went to GAME to buy it pre-owned and was told that the DLC was used.
But I thought it was on the disc?
Can someone please explain?
Is it DLC codes or all on disc?

If I recall correctly, Uncharted 3 comes with a one-time code for the online portion of the game. Once that code has been used, you have to purchase the online pass on PSN in order for you to play the game online on a different PS3.

However, I seem to recall the multiplayer in Uncharted 3 being made free at some point?

Most people assume that DLC comes on the disc, okay, in some cases with a few unscrupulous publishers that can be true. However, for Uncharted 3 you will need to download the DLC and I think the GOTY version has the season pass which should be all of the DLC under one code - that's usually how it works. So yeah, it that's been used like jawehawk says, then you'll need to pay for the pass from PSN or buy the game new.

Ok so I need the original season pass to get the GOTY's DLC.
Otherwise just buy season pass of PSN.
The store I went to also said the game was 40 pounds new!

£40?! That's way steep considering the game is a couple of years old: may I suggest you try: http://www.zavvi.com/games/platforms/ps3/uncharted-3-game-of-the-year-edition/10609838.html which is priced at £14 and that's not the cheapest either.
