Understeer problems

Sorry for not searching... But i couldnt find my exact answer i just bought a RUF CRT 2 or CTR whatever it is...and so far i have massive understeer at mid apex. Any solutions? or did i just blow 350K+?

An easy way to take car of it is to take down the ASM. That can reduce understeer, but also too much of an adjustment can cause oversteer. Try taking the ASM below 5, like between 1-3. If you already have that done.. That dont listen to me.

I always turn off that stuff for AWD cars. Thats what I usually do for AWD cars.

I hate ASM and TCS... I almost always turn them completly off... more fun having to always worry about spinouts.

If you go to the Settings board, you'll see a thread about the CTR2 that will help you deal with it. But understeer is a force of nature in that car.

Toe-in and toe-out are the best methods for reducing understeer, IMHO. It'll also guarantee you'll wear out your tires quicker, but it can make even a Skyline handle properly.

Simply put, they should point inward in front and outward in back. Voila - instant go-cart.

Setting all LSD settings to 5 will reduce understeer considerably in an AWD car. Start with all set to 5 and if the oversteer is too much, increase the LSD accel. until you find the handling you are looking for.

here is what i have done so far...TCS and ASM off and 10% front distribution..better, but i still think it must take turns at much lower speeds than other "A" class cars. I have tried the E brake, but it slows me down way too much as if it weren't responsive enough to where i have to hold it to get some over steer.

Heres a good answer, but off the top of my head, set the rear suspension softer, and keep trying it a bit softer until you find the best setting, also have the rear ride height a bit higher than the front, use softer tyres on the fron to the rear, and set the brakes so the front are stronger by about 25%.
