Unlimited bhp through oil changes.

I have found that you can keep upping a cars bhp by doing an oil change when its new then trading it.

By this I mean I bought a f10, changed oil, up to 699hp sent it to my other account (without using it) and then changed the oil on my second account then it was 705bhp, then sent it to my third account and changed oil again and it's now at 715bhp.

I'm not sure how many times you can do this but as the car has 0 miles it is seen as new on each psn account so you can change the oil. It may be possible to keep doing it forever who knows you could have a 2000bhp veyron or x1 after a while.
 
I wonder if it works with used cars.

Maybe after doing this a few times, the Mclaren F1 will actually be able to hit it's real life top speed :rolleyes:
 
Maybe we should start a chain of gifting of Fiat 500f's. Change the oil, pass it on. Change the oil and pass it on. And so on until it's 1000hp+.
 
Are you sure its just not a way to get the car "run" in without actually "running" it?

Just tried it on a new RE Amemiya Asapra, this is either false, or only works on the F10. It tells me the oil is in good condition and cannot be changed. Did exactly as the OP said, without driving it and zero miles on it.

Everyone can put their pitchforks down.
 
I checked this to find a potential bug and it is not possible, at least with the car that i tried (i don't remember which).

When you change oil and later give the car to a friend, if this friend tries to change oil, a "not necessary" message appears and you can't do it.

Please, confirm this.

I didn't.

I bought it on my main, sent it to my GF's, it didn't work. I sent it from my GFs to my main account, it didn't work.

HAHAHA that would be so epic:dopey: I don't think anyone could get mad over that, i know i would just lol if someone did that to me.
 
you have to drive it between changes.
I think your just experiencing the break in period as cars do gain more HP the more you use it.
 
Don't think this will work. But if it did, the only thing I would use it for is to make it easier for B-Spec Bob to win some of the races without constant hand-holding (Cote D'Azur historic cup race, for one. Maybe even Nascar just for the fun of it).
