Has anyone heard of unlocking the force pro so you can play with the full 900 degrees on GT3? I have seen something about this at gerhttp://www.beepworld.de/members15/gran-turismo-3_maniac/man. but can't read German( could be some other language) Thanks for your input. If possible go there and read about it and then decipher it for me

It can be unlocked for any game that supports the force feedback wheel. Any time during the game press....SELECT + R3 + Right paddle shifter and the wheel will calibrate itself for the 900 degree mode.

Hold on, the 900 degree mode lets you do 2 turns and a half, in gt3 you can do 1 turn and a half. I don't think the 900 degree mode can be used on gt3

Does anyone know when the wheel is supposed to come out in BC Canada? I really wanna try this, i already have the MadCatz MC2 wheel and pedals, but it only turns under 90 degrees

You can still play GT3 in the 900 degree mode... its not effective, but still playable in 900 degree mode. The best part of unlocking the 900 degree mode is you can calibrate the wheel after you have unlocked it and then this gives you more control to where you want your wheel to behave for lock to lock.

The advertisement says 2.5 turns lock to lock, or 900 degrees lock to lock which means exactly 1.25 turns in either direction

1 turn = 360 degrees
2.5 turns/2 directions = 1.25 turns in either left or right

1.25 * 360 = 450 degrees in either direction left or right

450 * 2 directions left and right = 900 degrees lock to lock

so really the wheel turns one and a quarter times in each direction! not 2.5 times as in a real car as one would assume.

Thats called clever advertising.

Your right it only turns 1.25 rounds in one direction. It does work on gt3 and I think it works very good. I have used it alot. It takes some getting used to, It actually makes you slow down in the game and drive like you are driving a real car. It made GT3 seem like a whole new game. by the way my real race car has a steering quickner and a 17" wheel on it and it only turns 1 round lock to lock. so I think they have built the new one right.
