Which car should be used for the "new" backgrounds?

Fool Killer: I don't think Alba is the one with GT5P to play at the moment, I'm pretty sure thats Amar not Alba, although similar they are.

Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking on Friday. I want to blame a busy day at work, but I really think I got so used to reading Amar's GT5P thread that I blanked out on all other A names.

I did it. So, unless Robin edited his post before I saw it you just did the same thing and our names are completely different.

What will be the purpose of them in the THEME?

Two small things. First, the crosses in Scandinavian flags should be mirrored, the vertical bar is always at the left when the flag is pictured. And second, we (few but still) want the Finnish flag too. :D

I have a probelm, when I go to save the UK flag, I always get the Welsh one instead...This is on the PS3 by the way...Any help?

You nothing. I confused Amar and Alba and in correcting me Amar accused you.

I can only assume that the irony was on purpose.


And then Alba was just making a joke.....I think.

wow this is going to be the most comprehensive GT theme ever!... I doubt even an official theme could touch this! :sly:

Concerning "other" in the poll, I think it would be nice to have a Aston Martin one, but seeming at the moment (I don't think) any press release photos have been released I suppose we will have to skip that one :(
 
Related to the poll question

I think some of the backgrounds should include cars from the following brands:

Audi R8
BMW M3 E92 Coupe
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
Ferrari F2007
Jaguar XK
Nissan GT-R R35
TVR Tamora
TVR Tuscan Speed Six

I would like to see a background of the DB9 as well, but only when some good shots come out.
 
I was thinking about adding the DB9 but there aren't any good "highres" screenshots or ingame ones, guess we'll have to wait for the game to be out or i'll have to get some capture or something :D
 
Keeping in line with the game being Japanese I'd nominate the R35 GT-R (boring but still, it's an important part of this game psychologically) and the '02 model NSX-R. Colours black and red if you have the patience to go for such small details. :p
 
I said Other for the cars, but that is because I saw that nice midnight blue GTI mkV on a menu shot and if I could get any decent image of that for a background I would be happy.


But this is all mainly because I have a mkV Rabbit in midnight blue (see sig) and so it really is just a personal want, especially since the color is important to me too. No one go out of their way to make it when I can probably add it later on my own.



Anyway, I already switched my wallpaper to the black Ford GT in the HSR tunnel promo shot that was posted last week, so making my own wallpapers to fit the theme is no big deal.
 
Check the first page, a few fixes here and there, I need to replace some icons with better ones and once that's done, I'll do some more tests and then pack everything and release it :)

Cool, it be good if you could get it to tie in with Prologue's release for the EU....
 
That shot looks great, as does the entire theme.


On the poll, I voted 'other', as I want to have a background with the 512BB. Still to see any screenshot of that car...

Wow, that's really jaggy. I sure hope it won't look like that on the TV.
But I meant more as in while-racing.
