Hello everyone,

After the event ended I replicated Daily Race C (Week 36/2025) conditions in Time Trial on Deep Forest Raceway.

Lap: 1:25.373 — clean, no wall-tap
Car: Dodge Viper SRT GT3-R ’15 (stock)
Tyres: Racing Medium
Assists: ABS Weak only (TCS 0, no ASM/CSA)
Input: Controller
Mode: Time Trial, dry

Why “unofficial”: the event leaderboard closed at 1:25.740 (WL); this lap is −0.367 s quicker under identical rules, recorded post-event.

Video (HUD + car settings at start):

Ghost/Replay: Ghost not available for this time, because I didn't choose to save best lap replay right after. I have a ghost time available with time 1:25.474 that I can upload.

What was your best time during the actual identical rules?
Hi daan — I didn’t take part while the event was active. I only started playing GT7 Sport Mode this week (Week 37), so I have no official qualifying time for Week 36.
The lap in the video was done after the event, in Time Trial with identical rules (Stock, RM, Viper GT3-R ’15) and it’s 1:25.373 clean (no wall-tap).

I hate to break it to you, but unless you're some kind of prodigy, you're not beating the best lap time set during week by 0.367 (that same time takes you to 54th place in the list you linked to) under the same settings. You might have set it the same, but online daily races are different from offline races.

Hi daan — fair point: not every “offline” mode equals Sport Mode.
For clarity, this lap was done in World Circuits → Deep Forest → Time Trial (not Custom Race) with:

• Fully Stock Car
• Tyres: Racing Medium
• Assists: ABS Weak only (TCS 0, no ASM/CSA)
• Input: Controller
• Fuel/Tyre wear OFF (same as Daily C qualifying), dry conditions
• Clean lap, no wall-tap — settings are shown at the start of the video and the HUD (throttle/brake/gear) is visible throughout.

I only started playing Sport Mode this week (Week 37), so I have no official Week-36 time. My intent was to replicate the qualifying rules of Week 36 and benchmark the combo; the lap in the video is 1:25.373, which is −0.367 s versus the final WL (1:25.740) under the same constraints.

If there’s a specific parameter that differs between Sport Mode qualifying and World-Circuits Time Trial that I’m missing, please point it out and I’ll happily redo the lap under whatever you consider equivalent (e.g., a supervised lobby with BoP: Specified, or a current Daily-Race TT).

Ghost: I’ll upload the 1:25.474 ghost to the Showcase with Allow Download ON. For the 1:25.373 I accidentally didn’t Save Best Lap Replay, so I can’t generate a ghost for that specific lap. I’ll post the Content ID here once the 1:25.474 ghost is up so anyone can load and verify.

Online events use Balance of Performance to cut down on the car power to balance them out. This is not applied in World Circuit Time Trials.

Essentially, the car you are driving is much faster than the car used in the Sport Mode event.

Fair enough — you’re right that World Circuits TT runs stock (no BoP), so I’ll treat this as a stock TT benchmark rather than a DR-C comparison.
Thanks for the clarifications, folks. See you on track.

I uploaded the second best time I did (1:25.474), if anyone wants to load the ghost.
