If there's a coder responsible for more content measured in bytes than I've made as meshes and textures (again, measured in bytes), I'll eat my hat.


Ever wonder why a word or powerpoint file size skyrockets when you start adding pictures? Try opening a jpg in notepad, maybe then you'll see what I mean.


I say again, there MUST be content. Over the last few updates, the total should be nearly 1GB?

It's probably linked to your PSN account.

You should think at textures, sound sample or mesh updates. You will have to send the whole textures, sound waves and mesh packages and the size rises as you blink your eyes.

This was indeed the original point, that it's unlikely they're just updating a few code bugs if the update is 608MB, there surely must be some texture / sound / mesh in there too...👍

It allows you to copy your save files to another device (USB pendrive) so should your hard drive die in your PS3 or you wish to upgrade it you can back up your save file, and transfers it to the new drive.

I'm a long way into the game and I wouldn't want to have to replay back up to level 24 because my hard drive died on me.

That is nonsense. Your save is locked to your very own PS3 and/or online account.

I do hope you never have a YLOD or a corrupt hard drive and lose all your progress.

Far worse is even one guy to lost 200 hours of gameplay. If you want to kill the "idea" of the game you should be able to. The idea of the game imo is to enjoy it and some enjoy the game more with ubersave.

You are a lucky guy, i have to format my HD yesterday because a corrupt file system, and yes i was on lvl 23 almost 24. You must thank God.

I have found that loading between the different screens is suddenly a lot quicker than it was previously. Don't know about the loading up of the events though yet.

1. Could someone please go to Arcade > Time Trial, and see if there is an online ranking button. It should be there anyway even if the servers are down for maintenance. If not then no leaderboards this time

2. With regard to save games, whats the say that they are encrypted so you can only use them on the PSN profile that they were originally saved on?
