update 1.05 - Ensure you follow the AUP when posting

I don't understand why everyone is so concerned about people duplicating cars and accounts. If people choose to cheat/exploit then let them, they are only hurting themselves and not getting the full enjoyment out of the game. So what if they have X1s too, if they cant drive them, then they will never be competitive so you have nothing to worry about.

I am happy to see this patch and welcome it with full enthusiasm.

Not sure about your first question. But to your second one, yes. We've been able to just quit an endurance race and just play it later. /s

Only for the people who don't care about a sense of accomplishment. For the rest of us, it will provide protection from save corruption, which is vastly more important, in my opinion.

I have everything against "free" save-file.

and you're saying that because.....

I just backed up my save that's how I know, you can copy your save to a usb device or another profile on your ps3, so it looks like an unprotected save unless the profile the save is made from has to be present on the ps3.

-Nurburgring 24hr/4hr unlocked by AMG Intermediate in practice and arcade mode
-Evolution II Benz for AMG (Intermediate?)
-Game save back-up

I don't have a problem with "free" save-file. Just make it so that they can't play online if one chooses to use a savefile that wasn't his/hers to begin with.

You need to save your game again with the updated game. If you just start the game and quit it will still be copy protected, as the save game is not updated.
 
1 minute left for me ,I just really hope my save isn't corrupted ,it came close last time but I can't lose my 8 million and the X1!

Far worse is even one guy to lost 200 hours of gameplay. If you want to kill the "idea" of the game you should be able to. The idea of the game imo is to enjoy it and some enjoy the game more with ubersave.

Yes, it is 10000x more important that I can backup my save in case of a YLOD (I've had one before on my original PS3), and to allow me to copy my savefile to the second PS3 I'm undoubtedly going to get eventually so I can do online racing in the other room while my wife watches tv. 👍 Eventually that's where it's at, and I have no problems with people being able to just get a completely unlocked savegame from the web so they have all the cars in the game and then just go on and play online with it. Just as long as you don't get the trophies, that is. ;)

I'm with you on this one, still wanted a back-up option and it seems like they chose the perfect way. :) Downloading right now, can't wait, feeling like at the day were the game came out!
 
thanks for the updates guys. seems rocketlauncher is still not implemented though. /joke.

Also I think no changelog adds to the fun!! This thread & excitement would not exist if there was one!!!

Update was quite quick considering the amount of mb.

And yes, HUD can be turned off.

+1. Agree. Its everybody's own business how to enjoy the game by completing it yourself or by glitching/hacking/other saves using.

Backup file: definate yes.
 
some people say, you get 24/4h endurance layout for intermediate amg.

I got those 2 weeks ago for golding intermediate... So i think it is not in the update, unless you get it now for silvering it, or bronze?
 
I dont know if its because the online servers are still down for maintance.

But the ability to share cars, and give cars to friends are now greyed out in the menu.

Also when going into my garage the tab with set to online is completely gone.
