Very glad to see PD remove the limit but if it is only a limited time thing I really hope they leave it open long enough for everybody to get their cars back.

Did this update change or enable a higher level of damage rendering on premium cars by chance? I just noticed today I am driving a McLaren MP4-12C around the Nordschleife and when I smack a wall it appears the panels take more damage and become loser quicker like only the rally cars used to do, the aero wing also crumples more realistically.
Damage? Looks like you put the bodywork in a microwave

You guys are getting mad for no reason. Its still on 1 send per 24 hours per account and not 1 per console. sent my 2nd car of the day from my other account(same console). everybody is getting mad for no reason. keep em tradin folks...this update didnt do jack crap...now my bro is the happy owner of a c5r vette. IF THE PEOPLE WHO PROGRAM UPDATES FOR GT5 CAN READ THIS I WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW THAT YOURE WORTHLESS. YOU TRIED TO RUIN OUR GAME AND COULDNT EVEN GET THAT RIGHT.

I noticed after crashing my Ferrari SP1, parts of the tail lights stopped lighting. Half of the passenger side wasnt lighting up and a bit of the driver side wasnt either. I dont know if this was part of 1.07 because I just bought the car after the update.
I think you must have a super exclusive, rare as rocking horse **** PS3, because gifting from one account to another on the same PS3 is most definitely limited to once per system per 24 hour period, regardless of the number of accounts.
For example, previously it was something like this (excuse the shoddy explanation, it's 4.30am):
Account One sends a car to Account Two and then back to Account One (all within a matter of minutes, if necessary).
This could be repeated for however many accounts you have enabled, but each account could only send once per 24 hours.
Now it's:
Account One sends a car to Account Two [waits 24 hours] and then it can be sent back to Account One.
Also, You say you just proved it, how? But you seem to be the only person this doesn't affect.

Carbon fiber does not bend like steel or plastic. It rips and shatters. I guess PD forgot about that amidst their "how can we screw this game for our loyal fans" brainstorming.

Cheap knock off parts made out of plastic and wrapped in a single layer of carbon to give it that look... say it ain't so! There can also be so much resin in cheap carbon fiber that it can crush, but like crash resistant glass, it will be saggy and remain somewhat together.

I can see where the microwave comment came from though more on the right taillight than from the carbon wing. Notice the red strip that should be the taillight cover and the five individual lights are unaligned and the car appears to be winking at me like an angry Johnny-5... and I apologize for cheeseball 80's movie references.

my accounts im sending from are with cars that were bought before the update. thats probably got something to do with it. theres no way Im the only ps3 in the world that can send more than once on a console per day. Im just sayin. sent yesterday at 9am. again at 10:13pm

That's because the gifting feature reset occurs at 7:00 pm Eastern. Jesus people are stupid.
Try searching the forums or doing a little research before you start making ridiculous claims.
This update sucks for several reason.
1. Many of the cars are worth more than one $1,000,000
2. Being able to only trade one car per ps3 per day...stupid. I have several accounts, including four for my kids (I'm teaching them to drive early). They don't exactly rack up points early and now I can't give them cars? Loaning them cars is the same thing....kids want someting that is their own.
3. THe talk about cars being rare and no longer having value, WAKE UP, they are pretend cars in a video game....they have no value aside from what we put on them. If someone has a carbon x1 and they deem it an even trade for an 85 turbo rally that they don't have that it is worth it to them. Aftificially inflating values has never worked (see the housing bubble)
So in effect what the "non" dupers are saying is that cars that don't have the value that they want on them are wrong, This isn't just your game, everyone else paid for this game too and they all enjoy playing it in different ways. If someone ejoys collecting more than playing, what do you care?
There is an old Libertarian saying that goes something like this (excuse me if I botch it a little) Swing and flair your arms around just for sport, so long as they don't connect with my chin.
4. There is no way to collect all the cars in the game. Some of you may be young, or have time to invest in playing the game a lot and grinding out some points, however, a large portion of us are older men with families and a lot of responsibilities, and we just don't have time to to do the grinding. Don't tell me about B-sped, I've tried it, I can't stand it, it's pointless to me. I want to race, I want to race serisouly, I have the seat, the monitor the wheelstand, clubsport pedals the whole deal. As it stands now I have to wait till my wife and kids are out just to get a few hours on the game. Do you know how long it would take me to get any of those cars that I want? I've owned the game since it game out, I preordered it, and I'm a level 15, because of time limitatios. A lot of you may see me online most of the day here, But I have the privieledge of not having to report to a 9-5 job and I'm on the internet a lot so I stop by here a lot.
Another thing...and this is may seem mellodramatic and overkill but I want you to know where I'm coming from. and this is serious, NOT A JOKE. When I was younger I used to like to collect things. Old pennies I found on the street, shiny rocks, old scratch tickets, comic book cards etc....that gave me a modicum of joy, maybe it was an escape I don't know I haven't anazysed it too much, but I would do it for hours. Before someone starts cracking jokes about this....this isn't a joke.
I was severly physically abused as a child, for almost 4 years. (to be clear it was not sexual abuse/molestation, nor was it at the hands of my parents, or family), but I got my ass kicked daily by my babysitter....in ways that would make an grown man shutter, make you nautious if you saw it. Only someone else who has been though it can undrstand it. I would be chased around and hit with a baseball bat or a boom stick, I would be thrown down the stairs (granite stairs no less, then a landing, then another set) She used to lock us in the closet for the whole day, No food (she never fed is anyway)but also no light, no water and no place to sit. This was also where she kept all the halloween costumes, pretty frightieng for a 6 year old in the dark. We could'nt cry because if she opened that door it wold be even worse than if we ust suffered in there and kept out mouth shut. I saw her get in pull a butcher knife and go after her son....in the melee they knocked my down the setps and split my eye open. I won't bore you with all every experience but one incident in particular I remember like it was yesterday. My sister was now being watched by the same babysitter. I was ....6-ish so she was about 2. Here it is 26 years later and I still remember it like it was yesterday(wierd how that happens) but my sister wouldnot stop crying. THe babysitter told her to stop (we called the babysitter "Auntie", I don't know why, she wasn't my aunt) I could tell she was about to start bawling so I snuck out of my nap room and tried to rock her and begger her to stop crying but it was no use. Well Auntie came back and saw me and she went into her sons room and got his belt. I remember it so clearly, I chased her in there begging not to hit me and she grabbed the belt that was laying on a desk right beside an unsolved rubiks cube. the belt had a metal pittsbugh steelers buckle on it and she beat me with it, she beat me with the buckel end. As I was running frantically arounnd the house trying to get away, I ran downstairs to try to get outside and runaway but she had the door locked in a funny way and I coldn't unlock it. So I ran the rest of the way down the staris now where the was no place to hide but I was running so hard and frantically I ran right ito an open doorway and split my head open and knocked mysef out The babysitter told my parents I fell off the swings. To he fair to my parents,
Anyway, I eventually got out of there...but back to the PD thing. I loved collecting the cars. I used to take out those old scratch tickets and look at thme over and over again....don't know why, it just gave me some sort of comfort. I loved looking in my garage and seeing everything I had collected.
Back to GT5, for someone, like me with not a lot of time to play it's just not possilbel to acheive the level that I want. I've been a faithful player of GT2,3 and 4. Doing all the grinding, gathering all the same cars over and over again. I was so happpy with the way that gt5 was setup, it ws the best of both worlds IMO, and the collecting cars was a big part of that. Please bring that back PD. I can understand if you don't want x1's to be tradable or even FGT's. But MANY us here like colloector, not just racering, it brings me just as much joy and taking that aspect of the game away leaves me with half the game I used to enjoy so much. It's definaltely fallen out of favor with me if it remains me me....and I'm not the only one. This isn't a sob story, it's just harmless fun in a pretend world, and we all need to escape to that pretence world for one reason or another. Thanks.
