Hey guys, hope someone can help.

After being away from GT5 for a while, I can't get it running.
When I press OK to start the update process, it disconnects from PSN
as the updates screen appears therefore freezing the update process.

Even starting the game offline doesn't work.

Suggestions?

Thanks

Thanks jgan.

After having a go at a few things last night it looks like it's a modem problem... no idea how to fix that...

Does anyone think trying this process with a wired connection instead of wireless would make a diff?

Wired is always better than wireless, if it's not alot of trouble, I reccomend it.

If the PS Store is undergoing maintenance would that affect the downloading of the 2.10 update?
I still can't get past this stupid problem...

But last night and the night before when I was trying the update the PS Store wasn't down, so I dunno...

I'm having the same issue. When the "Downloading update" page shows up it just hangs and wont download. My system has no issues downloading from the store (Just got the Vette DLC) or system update, so it's clearly not my modem. I'm wired directly in.

is there no way you can download the file via PC & load it on a USB & transfer to the console???

Ok, sounds just like my problem. Any change??

Try going into the PS Store. If it says you need to update before then do that. Then come back and try the update for GT5. Another thing to try is logging into the system with a different ID. Then try going into GT5 to start the updtae process
