UPDATE #3

After further tuning, I managed to get a kph in there. 440kph without drafting, 462kph with drafting. Extra 6kph with drafting. I don't think I can push it more than that. :(

UPDATE #2

With tuning, I have achieved the speed of 439kmh (273mph), without drafting.

UPDATE #1

With my fully tuned Veyron, I achieved the speed of 434kph (270mph). There is only one run, because I've found out that the opposite direction that was used for an average didn't have enough run way to achieve a controlled top speed test.

With drafting, I have achieved the speed of 456kph (283mph).

I will further attempt to beat this record, even with just 1 kph more.

As mentioned in the description, it's always been my dream to become Captain Slow. :3 I'm saving money, so I didn't fully tune this Veyron. With a bit more tuning, it might reach a bit more. I'm reaching for the official record of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport (431.072 km/h).

Now if only there's a Point to Point option in the Course Maker in the future, I'd make something similar to the Ehra-Lessien straight. It might make the difference, since SSR7 is a bit short for the Veyron, and some unstable road in parts.

Average top speed after runs in each direction: 421.5 km/h.

pretty nice :)
i've got 410 on nürburgring dottinger height ( it is spelled correctly ? im german :x )

Where do you go to change the gear ratios of the car to make it faster?

Please respond!

It's in the options. You can access it before starting a race.

Will update with a new top speed, as well as the top speed with the help of drafting.

I discovered I went quicker in the veryon with the 'standard' gearbox as opposed to the fully adjustable one.

This makes me wonder, should I use ANY upgrades for the veryon, or are the standard parts already better than the upgrades?

I have purchased every singe upgrade there is for it, just hoping I haven't decreased the car's performance?

I'm faster with the fully customizable transmission.

Sorry for the double post, just wanna update the thread (for my own enjoyment :P).

Wow...it goes faster than an F1 car...

In stock form it goes faster than an F1 car already. F1 cars top out at whatever they can get to at the end of a straight. If they took the cars to a super long straight, tuned the gears, it could be just as fast as a Veyron.

Salt flats have been known to post lower top speeds than pavement would because of the lack of grip. They are pretty close though. If the F1 car had the power of the Veyron, it would put it to shame.

I also just hit 463kmh in a draft at SSR7. Full tune, 1228hp, top speed on the transmission set to 480. Can't tune individual gears yet, but once I can, it'll go much quicker! I'll post a pic in a few minutes.

Non drafting i think you have reached the limit, but the cars speedo still seemed on the way up when you were drafting. I think if you can time the draft perfect you could hit 470!

Can't because it hits the limiter. I hit 463kmh in the race, but the replay only shows up to 462, which is a bit odd. If we could make the gears even longer, we could go much faster. It didn't creep up to 463, it got there quick.

Good going! My stock Veyron (except new tyres) has done 240mph, (LOL!)

Really is a monster of a car, such a shame it's not Premium!
