Update Coming October 27th

Has anyone tried setting room restrictions with both a PP restriction and a power restriction? The update says it should be possible but it didn't work for me when I tried it a few minutes ago. As soon as I selected a PP restriction it would grey out the 'Power' option and visa versa.
 
So, I just downloaded update, fired up to finish my endurance race and can't drive.... The computer is driving and I'm not sure if he plans to pit..... Tires are looking really bad..... Anyone else have this happen?

I like how they worded it, as if to say "it's your fault, not ours."

Anybody who went through it knows the glitch happened at any given speed. Well whatever, at least they fixed it.

Obviously not fixed. I'm in autopilot now and can't get off of it

Wow, I stand corrected then. Did you resume a race you were doing before the update was released? If so you may need to restart it for the correction to take effect. Not that THAT makes any sense...
 
Some strange PP issues with the new BSpec seasonals. It keeps listing cars as being under the PP limit, but when I go to race it says the car is over the PP limit? Very odd. Did a few laps round the kart track in an F1 car, now that's nuts! Little bump you take off it's cool man!

It is only for fixed type races. You can now set pp or hp and kg if you have it locked on one type of car. I.E. NASCAR only.
 
Its a giggle having the Kart Space in Practise Mode :dopey:

Just examples coz i'm not that fast , an yer the X2011 is a handfull on their :sick:
 
Now there's an option to make huge pics in Photo Mode (3840x2160) but... bloom and other effects from Photo Mode Spec 2.0 are gone again :(
 
this is just gonna remind me of when NFS underground came out, and there was drifting.clicky

Used to love doing the Drifting in that game because of tracks kinda like this :) Kart Space FTW!

Maybe you should have finished the race and then updated. I wouldn't have updated while a race was in mid save.
 
- Expanded the car restrictions in the Online Lounge
It is now possible to simultaneously set [Car Restrictions], [Performance Points], [Power], and [Models] in regulation settings. ( [Vehicle Tuning] must be set to [Unrestricted] and [Car Restrictions] must be set to something other than [Select from Garage].)

as far as I can see there is no difference at all....
If I change Car restrictions I can only change PP or Power (i thought you could do this before the patch) and what do they mean by models?
I'm a bit confused to honest...
and why cant I choose to restrict tuning if I change the other settings....

Indeed you can. And here I thought the Kart Space was just a useless freebie you get with Spa. But the ability to race all the cars on there makes this indeed a fun new track! 👍
 
Odd that we can only use all cars on Kart Space in online and Free Practice. I think it's because they can't make the AI script drive properly with anything other than karts. Would've been funny to see :lol: They still should've allowed us to use all cars in Time Trial (Arcade mode) though, as that's where I mess around instead of Practice (to avoid putting too many miles on my cars).

EDIT: We still can't fit an LSD to the Challenger Touring Car *facepalm* The people at PD should really get some more sleep...

I know I'm repeating myself, but I cannot believe that they killed the awesome photomode effects again. No bloom, no lens-flare, nothing, just like before 2.0. That's a real bummer for me.

Yeah, thanks for the irony, it is a big deal for me and I bet also for a lot of people who frequently use the photomode. And when you look in the photomode section, you will see that there are a lot of people like that.

Yeah, tbh I was enjoying photomode A LOT more with the effects. On time change tracks it looked astonishing. And now its gone? boohoo :(

BTW, already messaged Kaz about it. If some of us can do the same it would be nice.
