Update on japanese gt4 site

I don't know when you've been there for the last time, but I don't see anything new. Every time I go there I think "Hey, this car hasn't been here before!". But when I check I see that it has, I just didn't remember.

Hmm. I think it may been quite som time since i last was in the cars section. They may have been there a long time, just stupid me that have not been in the car section. At least I became a very happy man after discovering it. :)

Edit: Very sorry if I made a lot of fuzz about nothing. :indiff:

That's alright, at least it reminds people to go there and look for new information. This way anybody spying some new stuff can inform us immediately. :sly: 👍

I tell you what that site is simply amazing haven't been on it before. Some on the cars included on the game are amazing so many both old and new. This really wets the appetite for the game - even more.
 
i don't remenber seeing the honda insight before maybe there has been an update, maybe i just can't remember so many cars all at once :dunce:
 
well, thats the first time i've been to that section of the site and i'd be happy with just those cars listed. i'd be scrolling through and say to myself "ok, uh huh, yeah, OOOOO!!!" i cannot wait to drive some of those. I mean, anyone else gonna pimp that daihustu midget around nurburgring besides me? takes me back to gt2 in my hybriding days with a 1000hp, monster truck-tired midget. i only edited those things so it took like 1.5 seconds to shift but so fun. HL2 and LFS s2 (when it gets released) will tide me over during xmas will gt4.

A lot are missing actually, the list is far from complete. I suppose it might be completed when the first version of GT4 arrives in a few days.

The japanese website has been updated. I don't know what exactly has been changed, but there are new videos and stuff! Go and have a look!

Yup, there are the tv commercials like the short one already known for a few days. The only difference is the ending of it, showing some (already seen) footage of GT4. The last video is a longer version though.

Let someone with knowledge of japanese go there and see the "about" section. Update about bundle and some disc specifications has been posted.

Nice to see that RD is not being changed. Praise the Lord, touch the screen.

Progressive 525i is impossible. The i in 525i stands for interlace. How can it be both progressive and interlaced? It can't, which strikes me this info as very odd.

Hi-vision 1080i is possible. It's a deinterlaced version of 480p, much like the DVD players with 1080i scale conversion. If this is true, I can't wait to see it!

this is very odd... VERY, KY has been asked repeadetly if GT4 would support Progressive scan, the answer was always a very sound "NO". the reason? because the PS2 was allready at it's limit, and enabling 480p would require to turn off lots of features, and to quote KY himself "it actually looks worse" when using 480p.

maybe this is just for photomode afterall....
also, 5.1 surround???????????? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM... again, this was another "feature" that was asked and answered by PD quite a few times, they said dolby pro logic would be available, but never even hinted the posilbility of 5.1.

Maybe this only concerns the video sequences.
