Apologies if this question has been asked before.
My mate purchased GT5p not long after it came out and he thoroughly
enjoyed playing it.
He then left it for a while to play COD4.
When he eventually got himself online to play GT5 he was requested to down load an update which he duly applied.
Since that download the cars have been a hell of a lot more difficult to drive, ie loads of oversteer coming into bends and shuddering from the brakes.
(Before you say anything it's not on Professional mode either)
Now he just doesn't play it anymore.
I still play it because I'm not online and I still love it.
Is it possible for him to delete the update and re-load the original game with original settings?

Many thanks.

Yeah I would've thought so... if he has the BluRay version anyway; I don't know how it would work if he bought the download version..?

Just delete the installation and reinstall it, then skip the update when it pops up. Or disconnect from the internet when playing GT5P.

As far as I know he can't delete the update. What he could do is remove GT5p from the hard drive, after backing up his game saves on a USB stick or external HDD, reinstall GT5p, disconnect the ps3 from the internet so it won't ask to update anymore, reinstall the back ups and that's it.

I guess.

Other members probably can give you/him better advice but this is the way I should do it.
