updating when returning to 24hr race= fail

Was continuing the 24hr of nur. After stoping to rest and I go to load up and find an update,download the update and return to the race. 2 days latter after I finished the race I find that the update downloaded but didn't take, it says its updated in the manual screen but checked with the spoon crv and Does not drift forward with auto. What can I do?
 
Well, if you know the DLC cars are there, then your game has updated. Needless to say, I did an update once in the middle of the Suzuka 1000km, and it was there alright - the tyre wear changed completely, and almost lost me that race too...
 
Ya all that stuff is there but with all the stuff pd sneeks in wither there updates I wonder if I'm not missing more, the tire wear predicting thing in b spec is not coming up either
 
It's not missing, just the description for the features isn't always completely fitting. The 2J, for instance, doesn't actually have downforce now, just the downforce is added onto its PP total.
 
The tire wear prediction was misconstrued as well. It's not anything you can see anywhere. What changed was the game's own predictions... In endurance races the AI will not drive past the point of killing their tires anymore. I assume a similar problem in B-spec was fixed as well.
 
Thanks for clearing that up I was freaking out did they fix the lack of the hud in 2 player mode yet ? Non of my friends want to race since that went all nutty.

That's been fixed, but maybe you have to go to the options menu and reactivate hud to see the 2nd players hud again. Go to options and disable hud, then save, enter options again and enable hud. And save, of course. After that everything should be fine again in split screen mode.
