OK, I have no idea what I'm doing with that. lol
Can someone explain that thread that I linked to in a slightly less complex language?
Google isn't helping much. :(

That post can't really be explained any simpler really. They're just simple instructions in the eye of a more computer-literate person (it's mainly getting itty gritty with the command prompt).

I would do it for you but it's a little bit of effort. I'm sure someone else can though if they have the time. 👍

Also do note it doesn't guarantee the audio will be recovered.

The audio isn't that big of a deal.
Is that the same thing that a program would do?

Well, it's your lucky day - I put some time aside for this. :P

I recovered the file for you, but as I feared there is no audio. But the recovery seems to have worked on my end.

I'll upload the file and edit this post when it's finished uploading!

Edit: Sorry it too so long. 🤬 router disconnecting every time I got halfway through the upload. Had to use a different PC:

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Dude, what's your PSN, I'll send you five cars on GT5.
That's awesome, thanks so much!
If there's anything I can do for you that doesn't involve credit cards, PM me.
I'd gift you premo if I could. :(

For file recovery, I'd highly recommend Data Rescue 3 from:

www.prosoftengineering.com

It's essentially what the 'pros' at Drive Savers use as a first line defense in data recovery. If that program doesn't recover it, then they move it to the lab for physical recovery (we're talking tens of thousands of dollars for RAID system recovery). I used to work at LaCie and it's what we recommended. HTH.

Don't worry about it man. I don't really use PSN currently - mainly Xbox. :P

It was sort of a learning curve for me too because I study Digital Forensics at uni. Useful little tool there. :)
