Urgent help required! Deleted my son's save data!

I am going to send a Caterham Seven Fireblade! the PSN will be SkaterGuyMoose at about 9PM tonight, it's 1030A now for refference because I am sure you are in another time zone. I hope he enjoys, it's not an X2010 or anything but it's fun in it's own right

Well there is no easy way to say this, I have dropped the ultimate clanger and deleted my son's save data. He has two PSN profiles, a one he has had since he was 10 and a brand new one that I set up so he could play his mates online. Naughty I know but he is 16 next month :guilty:

To cut a long story short I thought he had been playing GT5 on the new one and he hadn't and now its gone :ouch:

He only comes to me on a weekend so I have a few days to try and appease the situation. What I'm asking for is any car a 15yr old lad might like which will make him less mad at his muppet Dad for deleting his data!

I have been sending him cars from my account but because I'm limited to one a day I'm struggling, please help!

Oh, ****. Same thing happend to me a few days ago, and I did the same as you. So i guess i have to help!:D

I can send him a car that i got then, for the last race on seasonal event #5. That shooted me from level 0 to 17. And 2 mill credits. Have to wait until the reset tho!

That would be great mate. My plan is to do the seasonals for him so he has got some cash and his levels up so when he goes on he can have his choice of races to do. BTW he was level 19 before (stuck on historic cup) with around 5 million in the bank. Got some work to do :irked:

Not really, if you do the seasonals you will be almost up to that level and cash. Anyways, if you friend request zaqwsx123412 I will send an F1GT or Lexus Petronas SC430 before reset. Your call.

haha, yeah, but goes fast, on a couple of days, i am allready level 24. And i have not driven all bonus races available. Mostly drifting for me:D A couple of races and you are higher level than he was đź‘Ť

How did you delete his save data, the only way is by being on his profile, which also begs the question of what you were doing on it.:trouble:

No offense to the OP but I get very suspicious when I see these threads, but since we are good people here, I can't argue with people helping others. Lets just hope the OP is not taking advantage of others through charity.

That is always a possibility, you can only hope people aren't taknig advantage. The way I see it, it's just a game. Plus I don't lose the car anyway, just a day of trading. Just look at the outcome of this thread though, it really shows the character of some of the people on this board.

If you were a fly on the wall in my office today you would know this isn't a con. I have bigged up and praised the generiosty of all you guys to all my colleagues, in fact I have never shut up all day! This only fixes part of the problem that I caused, unfortunately all his other save game data from his older games have gone forever and there is nothing I can do about that, but thanks to this forum I can help rebuild his GT5 profile.

For the record there is no benefit to myself in doing this, I've only endurances left to do on A-Spec. I have all the cars for B-Spec challenges just haven't done them yet. I have pretty much all the cars I want in the game the only thing I don't have is enough time to gift them all to my son before the weekend arrives. Once Saturday comes and the damage is done the thread will be closed.

I hope this info helps the doubters, if it doesn't then you don't have to help, but I'll say again I am mega impressed by those who are wanting to help and I will help them back any way I can?
 
I'll send him a car in a few days. I have some pending trades, but when those are through I will send some cars his way.

This board is awesome. Before joining i used to just lurk around it for hours reading the posts and such, till i decided i wanted in on the trades...haha

I have another account you can add as well. I will send a few cars from it. I have just made a trade on my main, and have another tonight. But starting tomorrow I will gift him a car a day. Just let me know what you need on the account, and I will try to send it if I have it

Don't want anything in return, unless you've got an X2010. I'm only level 29 and can't wait for tomorrows new seasonal events to get some more XP. But since I need 500k more XP to get to level 30 one seasonal event isn't going to get me there still!!

I just hope the Vettel challenge isn't as hard with a DS3 as everyone on GTP makes out it is.

Cheers mate, think I just got him another trophy? I bought the 19k Mazda and then put the ECU on for the penniless trophy :)

I'm trying to keep the 1st post up to date with the cars he is receiving so refer to that before gifting if you can. What do you think is the best ticket, the level 17 or the 1000?

Add me to the list again, I'll send along a J2 Race Car '70 (s) I used to win the Historic Racing Cup with tomorrow. That'll sort out another tough A:Spec race for you.

I have a tuned FGT too if he'd prefer that, though?
