Yes, cars have horns.
It wasn't an in-game horn though, sorry.
Did you make a thread for just one video?

I would like to start off by saying thank you for telling me that cars have horns.
Well I couldn't see a real life car blow it's horn that is why I was asking if it was in game.
Did you post in this thread just to spam it?

And yes I did make a thread for this video incase anybody wanted to further discuss it.

I for one would like to discuss it. Are those numbers they are getting true because Chevrolet doesn't make a hybrid vette do they?

You should have posted this in the GT5P section ...

Other than that, pretty weird but cool too I guess. I would have expected a mod for a PC game, not a hardware interface between controller and system.

Thred title - topic disconnect. Does not compute. The US GOV is messing with my breinz.

Geddin dummer by duh minit... hu has my foil hatz?

Green cars are a total waste of money.

They just ruined the Lemans sires in my opinion. Plus, how stupid do you have to be to say, "hey, lets make a green race car that runs on corn!" They couldn't have been less green if they tried. Added to that the fact that the gasoline powered flat 6 in the Porsche 911 GT3 RS keeps beating all the "green" ones.

Did you know that Volvo stands for "I roll" in Latin.......:)

The Porsche 911 was originally to be called the 901, but Peugeot demanded that the name be changed, as they held exclusive rights to car names with three digits and an "0" in the middle.

Seriously, what the hell were they thinking? Bloody ecomentalists... :yuck:

Hate to break it to you guys but 70+ years ago all gear heads said that diesels would never work in (endo) racing like 24 Hrs of Le Mans, and both Audi and Pug proved everyone wrong when they not only won P1 class but overall as well. Porsche has a 911 hybrid they plan to introduce to ALMS. As much as I absolutely hate hybrids in real life, for endo racing I believe technology will win. If hybrid systems aren't working right, they disable them meaning dead weight to the cars. Once you start the race, you can't remove the systems and that advantage instantly becomes a disadvantage due to weight, similar to open wheel racing's 'power boost' module if not working right

Just like diesels that Audi and Pug brought to the world's biggest race, hybrids in these race cars will barely have any similarities to the street car versions.

You do know that LeMans rules allow diesels to run nearly 50% more displacement, better turbos and bigger air restrictors?

And that they still had to raise the minimum allowable weight to make the Audi R10s competitive? Now that they're dominating, they're trying to restrict fuel load to balance it out... what they should really do is rewrite the engine rules to take into account modern technology.

Diesels are great, don't get me wrong... but their competitiveness in racing classes against gasoline engines comes from creative performance balancing rather than actually being faster than gasoline engines.

If you gave gasoline cars in LeMans the same specs as diesels, they'd be much much faster on the straights. The diesels would still go a few laps longer before refueling, but if you're a minute down by that point, it's not going to matter much.

Endurance racing is as much about politics and the need to create close racing and a spectacle as it is about technology. Spark-ignition engines are still superior to diesel and hybrids in terms of on-track pace. And this, ultimately, leads to wins.
