Hello community!!
I was just wondering, what is the origin of cars that you prefer for drifting??

I mean if you prefer hot, heavy and powerful American cars like:
Chevrolet Camaro SS '69
Dodge Charger Super Bee 426 '71
Dodge Viper GTS '99
or even
Chevy Corverre ZR1 '09

Or those powerful German cars such as:
BMW M3 CSL '03
Mercedes Benz C63 AMG
or even
Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren '03

Or those superior supersports from Japan:
Mazda BP Falken RX-7 '03
HKS Genki Hyper Slivia '04
or AE86 or S14 Silvia

My personal choice are those American cars, becouse they are really cool and they are harder to drift than those Japanese cars. And their sound is brilliant.

I Like all but I prefer German cars (135i , All M3's , ... ) :lol:
 
yea im loving my 135i but just to prove a point with tunning i'll pull out my sileighty

For me each country produces 1 type of car the best

Japan: Nimble light cars that are overall the most used

USA: Large powerful cars that are good for bigger courses

Germany: Big saloons and executives that have smooth power
 
I use these Z33,Z34,Skyline coupe,Academy 370 tuned,Viper 02,Ford Trans cammer, and BMW
 
I keep it as japanese as possible...but my go to hails from deutschland...all about the Rufs, people....big heavy, executive saloons be damned...its all about the lightweight, oversteer happy smoke monster known as the BTR....id like the CTR more but I can't put the Rauh-Welt-ish wing on it so....
 
I like to stay JDM tyte yo, but every now and then I'll pull out something else.
Variety is the spice of life.

Mostly Japanese but I get kicks out of Drifting my Pink Prowler and people like it also.
 
I don't discriminate when it comes to drift cars. If power goes to the rear wheels it WILL be drifted. It doesn't matter what country the vehicle comes from.
 
i prefer american and japanese :) both are equally fun in their different ways
 
I like to keep it Jay-Dee-Emm for the most of the time.

Only JDM. But still have a few not JDM rides that can drift good)
 
Most people will say japan for obvious reasons. I wish Australia was in there. The Monaro is a brilliant car to drift

USA- new GTO
Japanese.- R32 RWD
Ger.- BTR
 
I'm with megamarcx84 on this, my goto drifter its a ctr yellow bird. I've also just started using a btr for the more "power" tracks. However, it really depends on what I'm going for. When I'm looking for slower, longer drifts, I use a stang cobra svt. For shorter courses and tandem, I use one of my rx7s or my ctr. I've started going nuts on the nurburgring, I'm finding that I have a fondness for the skyline.
 
i like the Japan & German cars the most, but i have fun in American muscle also.
 
JDM ftw, Nissan silvia spec r aero (s15) '02 with race mods on
 
I see it like this; Japanese cars are the light, nimble, well-balanced ones, but they generally have less toque . American cars have the highest torque and raw power, but often are too powerful for the tighter bits. Euro cars are a lot like their American counterparts, i.e. the M5, but tend to have shorter wheelbases. I prefer just prefer JDM stuff myself
 
I usually use a Delorean for my drifting, occasionally i'll use a merc C63.
 
i use s14 and 180sx and 240sx and tuscan speed 6 and supra RZ (cant forget that one)
 
I prefer all, before i like to use Japan. Now, I use SRT10, SLS, XKR, 458- high power cars.
 
I don´t know... i dont judge my cars based in countries, cose... it doesn´t reflex their caracteristics. Besides, i love Aston Martins, a car with bad teeth. Plus, what makes me try a car is if its not so used inside the GT5 universe. So rarely you will see me running on a RX-7 FD or a z34.
 
They all have great drift cars. my main is a German car
 
Only jdm ill race is the rx7, other then that i prefer German, predominately bmw. They handle as well or better then most/all jdm but they have the power to get the job done. It's like a healthy mix between american and jdm, except with the added bonus of German engineering.
 
i have not tried out any German cars but i have a yellow bird i can try, otherwise i like the other two
