Hi
Think I am getting another PS3 to take to uni with me :). Question is can I use my GT5 data from my old ps3 on the new console?
Thanks in advance.

Question asked many times... *Sight*
Either way, yes you can. Create the same user name (exactly the same), sign on your same PSN, and you should be able to play the games with your old save. You just have to install the gama data

Thanks alot for that! Sorry for asking the same question that many others have asked :)

But, you will have to backup all your photos and replays via USB. Replays can be transferred back into the game but photos can't.

Fwiw:

If you have a PS+ Account you can back up the save data to the free online back up. If you back up before quitting daily you will always have your latest game save readily available for either PS3. Save you the hassle of carrying a thumb drive.

If no PS+, then thumb drive it is. Or any USB storage media will work actually.

Friend uses old cell phone card in a USB adapter.
