"LUKE YOU'VE TURNED YOUR TARGETING SYSTEM OFF, WHAT'S WRONG?!!!"
Anybody else getting better times now that we can turn most of the HUD off? It seems easier to me for a couple of reasons-
-Focus. Its just easier to focus on what you need to do.
-Peripheral vision. Small as it may be, the amount of space the HUD obstructed seemed to hinder my ability to judge distances.
-Memorizing the car's characteristics quicker. Because I'm not looking at the RPM's or MPH it takes much less time to memorize what audible pitch to shift at, and also how to not force the car to go over its limits.
I know this stuff is probably, "noob, I could do that from the start" but I think it helps improve my lap times faster than usual.
