Maybe, we'd need to look at all the pros  and cons :thumbsdow though:

- It would encourage people to behave in a good manner?
- It would also give a good structure for a Moderator electing system? :computer:

Then again:

- Those with bad ratings :fdevil: may decide to leave :teleport: as they can't express/be themselves.
- We might end up where things are so nice :) that people aren't honest, and were all living in a happy happy fairyforum :shakehead:

Anyone think of anymore? :D

I though of that, but since the place in the link, still has 18,000 members, i dotn think that having a low rating will cause anyone to leave.

Plus, you can change your vote, like, you pissed my off, i'll give you a one. but if you help me out after that or something, i can change it to a higher number.

I dont think that it will every end up in a happy forum like atmosphere:D too many people set in their ways:D

It would be interesting to see how it worked. Maybe a user could cast a vote on another user once in a given 6hr period. You could do some interesting statistical analyses there as well. If J's studying Psychology, he'd have enough material for a thesis!

user ratings are just about as useless as thread ratings. i don't want little stars trying to tell me who to listen to, likewise with threads... also you could have trolls coming in and giving everyone a low rating... anyway, its a stupid system. any normal person can see who is smart and who is stupid.

Woah!!
Where do you see that? vBulletin, or, more specifically, MySQL, can't handle that number of users.

3138 is how many people signed on that whole day. 387 was the amount of people that were all signed on at one specific time.
