'Users Browsing This Forum'

Hey Jordan -

How is the "Users Browsing This Forum" at the top of each forum organised? I originally thought it was date joined, as I think it was on GTP4, however it clearly isn't anymore. Then I thought it was alphabetical, which is when I realised I'd be getting the shaft, since there's evidently some rule where we all have to have our user names be "M5Poweq" or earlier. But that isn't it earlier. Nor is it length of time browsing that particular forum. So how's it done?

I think it's done in order of who entered that forum first. But don't quote me on that.

Hmmm...I'm afraid I can't answer that. I could ask the vB developers if you'd really like to know. :)
 
OK, well, I think it's to do with the session ID that is given to you when you log in.

It's definitely NOT the user ID, or post count, and I don't think it was when you were last active in the forum.

Yes, I'd say that is most likely.
