Using a steering wheel but no pedals?

Hi Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use a steering wheel but not the pedals - so accelerating and braking by using buttons on the wheel maybe? Or is this absolutely crazy?! Thanks!

Am not 100% sure, but if you do manage to use wheel buttons, you will have on/off throttle and brake control, making precision harder. Some old wheels had analogue paddles, but I can't think of any ps3 compatible ones let alone ffb ones. May I ask why you would want to do without pedals?

Driving Force Wireless uses plastic paddles, similar to G2x ones, except they are used for throttle and brake. About AUD$100 if i remember correctly.
