Is it just me or do most people have no clue how to utilize the internet? For instance, every day I see people asking questions here that could be answered in a fraction of the time it would take them to post, then wait for a response, if they would just look somewhere else on the internet. Often I go look up the answer for them in a matter of seconds and post it. It's like going to the library to do research and instead of going in and looking something up you just stand out front and ask everybody who walks out. Has anyone else noticed this? Do they know you can find out pretty much anything you want? Do they know the internet is more than a GT forum?

I'll have to agree with you there, mile. I really like when people ask for images of cars and they say they searched the internet and couldn't find anything.

How much does a Lamborghini Murcielago cost?

Isn't that half of what a forum is for? To help the lazy people?

I can't believe how dumb some people are though. It only takes a few minutes to search and find something. But it takes way longer to post a thread and wait for replies.

:rolleyes: Stupid People.

Not necessarily, maybe the person you are asking knows more than a website ever could about the thing you want to know.

Possible. But I've seen plenty of instances where this is clearly not the case.

Especially true in the GT3 section, unfortunately.

Yeah, it irritates me. I really hate it when someone's blatantly asking you to do their homework for them. Or when they ask for someone's opinion on a current event here because they can't be bothered to read the news sites and make up their own minds.

But I think that it's a function of the experience and lenght of time using the internet. You get better at it as time goes on, just as you learn to use a library.

Hummm... I think it would be a lot less work if we all just put a bunch of search engines in our signatures. Like;
Got a question? Need a answered? Click HERE and select a search engine and ask your question.

Yup. Same thing if you're handy with home electronics. It seems that logical thinking escapes many people... ~sigh~

If you only did a search, you'd have known that Old Man Winter hadn't truly left.
